Anyone who doesn#t think that Fury is an average/weak boxer should stop watching boxing.
Fury put on a master class vs Klitschko. He outboxed the outboxer and roughed up the wrestler in Klitschko. Klitschko was clueless and the only thing he could avoid was a beatdown because of his tactical abilities and his experience.
I sensed that Fury could very well bring t he same energies to the fight he brought against Johnson. The way he implemented his gameplan was simply impressive.
Now that Klitschko's ego has been badly hurt let's see if he can bring the old spirit that made him once an admirable athlete.Physically, he was in his prime vs Pulev.
Joshua might be strong and he might be quick but he would have to fight a different fight to beat Fury. And I can't see him bringing more than what Klitschko brings from the ouside. But he can counter and time his ounches very well though. That may be the key to beat Fury.
My guess is that Klitschko will either jump on Fury and risk getting beat up ( put apart that there's something he still hasn't shown us) or he fight cautiously and waits for the opportunity to land steelhammers while Fury opens up.
But Fury won't fight Joshua the way he fought Klitschko. Him and his uncle are very good tacticians and seem to understand the psychology of their opponents.
Nope, the elite have almost always been the most athletically and physically gifted and dynamic. That doesn't mean the better athlete always wins, but even then the victor (Barrera - Hamed, for example) is still a tremendous athlete in their own right.)
Fury makes a mockery of the notion that boxing training is among some of the most physically demanding in the world.
Athleticism can definitely give you the edge when all the other elements are in place, but too often boxing fans get seduced by a fighter's body and how well he can perform repetitive or non-boxing-related movements and try to apply them to success in the ring when these two things have only a small correlation.
You're right that champions need to be dynamic, but isn't Fury exactly that? I'd also say that he has a definite advantage in stamina and trains for a hard twelve rounds while AJ is very much a front runner. As for making a mockery of boxing training, he isn't the first nor will he be the last. At least he doesn't smoke during camp or come into fights steaming drunk, though it might be more interesting if he did.
It should be obvious by now, but boxing has never been a sport where pure athleticism has ever been the dominant paradigm.

Fury takes Joshua to school. AJ knows it, Hearn knows it. They want nothing to do with Fury and have already come out and said as much. Fury is the fitter boxer of the two, and has a far superior engine, despite not being a muscle bound hulk.

:lol1: looks like something out of a Monty Python or Benny Hill sketch.
Who won between Larry Holmes and Kenny Norton?
Who won between Tim Witherspoon and Frank Bruno?
Does Joshua put in the roadwork like Fury does? I'm not sure.
Who mentioned anything about physiques? This is a comparison of the two in training. One looking like an actual professional athlete, and the other looking like an uncoordinated slob who just rolled off the couch.)
Fury is an amusing character, but anyone who thinks it isn't a slightly bit embarrassing for someone like him to be holding the heavyweight championship of the world is lying to themselves. The videos speak for themselves.
What those videos show to me is that looking good in training has very little bearing on how you perform in the ring. AJ looks like a great athlete, which is presumably why so many casuals buy into him. Fury in comparison looks like an uneducated slob, falls over his own feet and punches himself in the face. Yet it's Fury who holds the heavyweight championship of the world while AJ is still making baby steps and getting rocked by guys with moobs.
It should be obvious by now, but boxing has never been a sport where pure athleticism has ever been the dominant paradigm. It's a thinking man's sport and Fury is one of the best thinkers both in and out of the ring. Don't be fooled by appearances. Niccolino Locche looked like a total slob as well, but clowned every single opponent he ever fought. Why? Who the fcuk knows, but he was able to get into their heads and understand what they were going to do before they themselves did.
Fury himself does a similar thing. Whether it's innate or something he garnered from a lifetime of being around fighters I don't know, but I know it's nothing that Joshua will ever be able to possess, just as Fury will never be able to possess a fitness freak body. And it's what gives him the edge in every single one of his fights.
Actually Joshua hammered the pap out of fury in that session.
Fury said as much on record to Steve Bunce.
I was being diplomatic with the sparring lol....some fury fans get upset and irate if you say things the way they are....but no worries geez.....hopefully there will be big summer blockbuster at Wembley stadium next summer...lets see

I point towards Deontay Wilder.
If Fury is not training properly it only MAKES IT HARDER FOR HIMSELF. respect that instead maybe...
At the end of the day he is the one getting in the ring with some of the best heavyweight boxers IN THE WORLD and beating them.
What is embarrassing is these forum folks trying to take something away from a great man.
You guys couldn't tie his boots.
Fury would knock AJ out.
what does he have to do for your approval?
No matter what training he does he won't have a cut physique. Your love for the male physique is the issue here....sure your not on the homo side?
Keep supporting these over muscly stiffs all you want. Fury is one of a kind.

Well what ever money you want son Joshua knocks him clean out ....and I'm English as well...I never realised that when Joshua sparred fury he had only just started boxing...no experience at all and yet the sparring was evenly matched......now Joshua is well schooled lets we what happens...fury will hit the deck like a big redwood tree

What bollocks.....the game plan that was used in the klitchcko fight lol....I am English and the fight was an embarrassment and one of the worst fights I have ever seen.....
He is not that powerful (for a heavy), no where near as good.
His only chance was to jab and get on his bike. He didn't get drawn into changing that tactic at all.
Very difficult for a boxer to do that, especially when fans are squirming and people are yawning, especially in the late rounds.
As I said one of the best at sticking to a plan.
Fury would knock AJ out.

Fury is a decent trainer who is one of the best fighters at any weight of sticking to a game plan.

That's hilarious lol.....please forgive this video.....this doesn't represent the way 99% of English proffessional boxers when they are in training for a big fight.....it's like a comedy show and it's brilliant lol
It's not trolling it's just watching the training of each fighter..it just so happens 1 fighter actually looks like a proffessional boxer ....the other one looks like Tommy cooper trying to jump into tyres lol......Jesus on earth how has than man become heavyweight champion ......boxing is doomedddddddd lol
