Most predicted 700k to a million buys a few months ago, but with this bombshell, how many PPV buys will this fight get?
I'm going out on a limb and say <200k...
I'm wondering if there is a huge contingency of gay boxing fans?
I only thought it would do around 500k in the first place, after the comments maybe 499k? :)

They already did, 2 million of them just unfollowed him.
you mistook the info you got man, he never lose 2m follower, his verified account is new and his fan account still has 2m followers
Hell aparently he lost many followers, so i guess lots of his fans really were gay..explains a lot
Probably fake outrage tbh, since being politically correct gets you mad cookies in social media.
The crowd is going to cheer Bradley and boo Manny. But the pinoys will cheer manny.

700k was a pipe dream. It was gonna get about 300k at the most. Now that Manny has offended the gay viewers I predict 98k
Even more than before. I don't know about that 700k figure, but now with the added drama it may very well be 700k, which would be beyond solid figures for this fight because fans around the world are saying they don't really care for it. Although it is a good fight. The added negativity will actually add to the PPV's imo.
Pac is a moron, and this certainly won't help, but what percentage of the boxing audience really cares about LGBT rights? And most of those that do will probably just buy the PPV and root for Timmy.
I can't imagine it affects it much at all. It will be interesting to see how any pre fight hype (especially HBOs) handles the subject.

Pacquiao's comments, in essence, killed all of the positive free media that would've come from ESPN/sport news, for a fight that most people weren't really all that excited to see in the first place.
200k is definitely a low estimate, but I don't see the number going beyond 400k-500k PPV buys to be honest.
