I agree 100% but how could anyone have let this happen or not pull the plug sooner? I wonder how this plays out if PBC does fold altogether. No more coddling for PBC fighters i would presume.
Correct, they're now going to be fed to the beasts. Fonfara-Kovalev the latest to be talked about.
well unfortunately the other side of the fence doesn't operate based on facts. you can say long term project all you want but if you have no money how are you going to do that long term project? paying guys like lara a million dollars and having him fight in chicago hmmmm yea not smart. those pbc guys were at the right place at the right time in boxing history. what a scam

Wow unbelievable if that's true. I know there's a lot of doubt in the PBC but then there are others on the other side of the fence saying it's a "long term project" so will be interesting to see how things play out the rest of the year.

That's the word going around. It ties in with Wade and Martin being served up to rival promoters on HBO & Sky. Talk now of Hopkins-Stevenson too, so it all fits.

is this true? Source?

Haymon might let him fight Kovalev in Russia now that Waddell & Reed have cut his funds off.
Didn't know the money stopped, but makes sense, they don't have anything scheduled on PBC (that anyone cares about).
PBC tried to come into boxing and reinvent the wheel, Haymon should have just managed fighters (and stay away from promoting).
There was a report on this site a few days ago saying Beterbiev would be back by April or May.
He still needs a few fights before Kov, I hope they don't rush him to that fight.
It would not be fair right now, Kov has fought top fighters (Ex. chicken), Beterbiev has looked impressive not doubt, but he needs some rounds and resistance before Kov.
Beterbiev needs Darnell Boone type fighter, then top 10, maybe Fonfara or Gonzalez. Can't see him winning just yet, Kov is wrecking ball right now, the former top guy of the division ran for a reason.
Injured m8,his shoulder has kept him out since sept-oct 15.He'll probably return in the summer
Cheers broski!
Look forward to seeing him back in the ring
Havent seen any news on the guy since he beat that bloke with huge dreadlocks.
Does he have a fight lined up? Injured?
Thanks
