Amir Khan has been salivating for a big money, big exposure fight for a very long time now. After failed negotiations with Pacquiao and Floyd, he now gets his opportunity against the #3 PPV attraction in Saul Alvarez. But HOW did he get the fight? He took a RISK, that's how. He's got heart and balls, something that not a lot of boxers seem to have these days.
He knew that going up 8 lbs is potentially dangerous for him, but he said he was up for the challenge anyway. He's going up in weight to go up in revenue. This payday alone will trump what he's made from fighting Garcia and Algieri, and HE made that happen.
You gotta work your way up the latter, and he found his opportunity and took it. Something that I believe a lot of fighters can take a page from. Khan knows what it means to move up in class. He's doing so by fighting Canelo.
Enjoy that payday, Mr. Khan. You deserve every bit of it.
And since no middleweights want to get in the ring with him.........the next logical step would be to....
Be like Hagler and Hopkins. Keep active until the big fights happen, just like it eventually did for them.
A champion who makes weight comfortably should never be forced to move up.
GGG isnt deserate like Khan..Khan doesnt want to fight a threat unless he gets paid big because he knows he is going to lose...GGG is unbeatable and even supermiddleweights are ducking him
How long are you gonna keep the shtick up? It's kinda funny.

He has to fight the best middleweights that will get in a ring with him. That's what the middleweight champion is supposed to do.

That's why GGG has to fight KOVALEV or DROZD. If he doesnt, he's a bum

GGG doesn't have to fight Kovalev. I mean, he could if he dared to be great, but that's not something that even needs to be on his radar or anywhere near it. But a move to 168 could do wonders for his career.
