So Amir Khan has a very deep resume with names like Danny Garcia, Maidana, Zab Judah, Marco Antonio Barrera, Devon Alexander, Lamont Peterson, etc. Yet over the past couple of months people have been saying Khan is ducking people left and right.
Now he is set to jump a division to face a much bigger man than him in Canelo Alvarez. I personally believe that Alvarez is going to kill Khan (not literally but the size difference makes this fight extremely dangerous for Amir). I also believe Canelo is a better fighter and more experienced than almost everyone at 147 currently (in a P4P perspective).
For someone who is labelled a 'ducker' he certainly is confident in signing up to fight a bigger, stronger, experienced champion with a big punch. I had my doubts in Amir Khan but if this fight goes through, I will have a lot of new found respect for him whether he loses or wins.
Canelo on the other hand...smh. You better win this fight or you'll be the laughing stock of the boxing world.
What do you guys think? Will you continue to be a hater?
Why does he deserve more respect than anyone who fought Floyd or Manny? Or Josesito for that matter? When non-cash cows fight cash cows the reward makes up for the risk.
We all know whats going to happen here. After round 6 when Khan starts to tire and his little sh*tty flurries start getting wider and wider, Canelo will jump all over him and its good night. He'd rather lose to anyone but KB.
