So far recently on NBS, Golovkin has recently looks to be the new Mayweather of Fantasy fights. Fans claiming he is too good for the past greats; he beats Jones Jr, Hopkins, Toney, Jackson,McCallum, Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, and soon we will hear he would have destroyed a prime Sugar Ray Robinson.
As of now, GGG somehow beats Jones and Toney. Ironic!
Wtf are you talking about?
Everyone I have seen posting that's a GGG fan and not a troll has already admitted Jones beats GGG. Even I've said that. Nobody beats a prime Roy Jones Jr. at middleweight. Nobody.
As for Toney, I haven't made up my mind yet. Toney is a durable and great inside fighter. He's not a top 5 middleweight all-time, though. I still want to see how GGG does against Canelo, before I make my call against Toney.
You guys forget, Toney did have his own struggles against some B-level fighters (if not, C level).
No, people know if he steps up to 168, 175 his 0 will get dragged around like it means nothing. People don't really know if Mayweather moved up to 160 that his 0 would have been in that much danger. Just from GGG himself, that would have been the toughest fight for Mayweather. At 160, we got good boxers around there, like Lara, and for a little while Ward at 168 wanted some, but GGG never wanted it. We saw Floyd against guys fans said he'd never fight, like Canelo, Pacquiao, Mosley and he won. So they're not the same. Fans say GGG will never fight Lara or Ward, and he likely won't ever. It'll take for Lara to get KO'ed first by someone else, or show more vulnerability consistently, before GGG/K2 want to fight him.

its impossible to say that, but at the same time its also impossible to say that Jones or Tony school GGG. GGG hasn't shown enough of a weaknesses to know how these fights would turn out, when GGG fights a true A caliber fighter like Canelo or A+ bigger fighter like Degale and Ward then we can make a point that he has a good chance at beating guys like Jones and Tony, as of now competition isn't strong enough to determine one way or the other.
edit: both Tony and Roy are great fighters, their legitmacy isn't questioned, GGG passes the eye test but like some posters say only when faced with adversity or elite fighters can you really tell what he is made of.
it seems to be the other way around, Golovkin is the new guy that the greats would destroy had they fought to day. Golovkin's resume is nothing to be excited about (it isn't bad by any means, but nothing special either). Its the way he takes out his opponents that some fans/trainers/who ever decide to throw him in with the greats.
At the end of the day he will not be an easy fight for any fighter in middleweight history.
