Meaning do you think it would change all the title holders and re-arrange the p4p rankings? Id love to see PBC take the initiative and make all their title fights 15rds. I know its wishful thinking though...

I'd rather see sanctioning bodies require more frequent defenses; say 4 per year.
Are you serious?
If anything I would love PBC to take the initiative and reduce the amount of rounds. Make it 8 rounds! This eliminates feel out rounds, eliminates, wasted rounds, and brings a sense of urgency in fights.
More action, more KO's and best of all, if two fighters with bad styles get put on an undercard it's only 8 damn rounds.
Interesting, I think you are the first guy I have even heard that wants LESS rds most want more or like it as is. You do bring up some good points though but thats to quick for me and some fighters take a little longer to warm up than others. Also I think thered be more draws. But to each their own, and valid points you bring up...

I would prefer this to have happened about 4-5 years ago, that way WARgarito wins the Cotto II, and Pacmonster fights. As the unbiased recall, Tony ran out of rounds.
Go back and watch the Cotto Margarito rematch, he got stopped because of his eye. The doctor stopped it early, he couldn't last 12, so how does 3 more rounds benefit him?
Also Manny almost killed Tony, his corner should have stopped the fight. He had no chance of winning, Manny actually took it easy on him and didn't throw with the same power and pulling his punches.
Bad examples.
15 rounds would be great, the corner and doctors would have to stop fights when they were no close (Manny vs Tony) otherwise someone would die.

Cant say that I like Margarito but hed but 1 that wouldve benefitted very much from 15 rds. The guy had killer stamina and I heard he used to spar like 24rds a day lol

Of course you have guys who barley make it to round 12. 15 round fights would benefit hispanic fighters who put body attacks on their opponents. Runners would seek steroids to increase their stamina maybe move to Vegas so that they can use IV's to clean themselves before the test
Garcia would have been stopped by Peterson with three more rounds.
Lee would have gotten the decision against Saunders with three more rounds to close the gap.
Murray would have gotten the decision over Martinez with three more rounds.

No it would only get more guys hurt bad. 15 round fights were awesome back in the day, but i really wouldn't want to see guys like Golovkin, Kovalev and provodnikov punch guys out for 3 more rounds. They may outlaw the sport then.
It would mean no more title fights on network TV. Title fights went to 12 rounds primarily so they could broadcast a fight in an hour instead of an hour and a 1/2.
I wouldn't mind it. It would really separate the elite fighters from the good ones.
