a few things that got me thinking in this thread.
1- Latin is not well used, it is hispanic unless you are a galo or italian, etc.
Latin is used awfully by north americans, but you don't even know where you are anyway.
2- Argentinians mostly come from Italy, France , et al....
3- most Argentinians i know are slim looking guys. when i was down there they were mostly thin.
They are mostly whiteys, the ones like chino and darker are called morochos.
They still look slimmer than your average Englishman.
Britain is the fattest nation in Europe.
I doubt it and you seem confused, not all Brits are English.
Damn bro I didn't know argentinians were that heavy
I wonder if they are on average significantly more overweight than other Latin countries
On the verge? They tipped over the verge a long time ago
No way is this dude coming back, he used to walk around at 170 when he was still active, he looks to be well over 180 here at least 190 something, this dude is not interested in fighting.
I do not consider getting overweight "the good life" but if that's what's happiness to some people, that's fine. But that is asking for a short life, clogging yourself up like that, causes early age heart attacks. To each his own.

i don't know if this pic has been posted already :lol1: he is definitely not coming back
Can't blame him. If I was a multi millionaire living in Argentina I'd be eating gaucho steak as much as I could.
Dudes just living the dream.
It all went by so quick I have many great memories of chinos fights at fight parties. Cherish the memories he gave us because boxing wont have another chino for awhile

Argentina loves its beef but it's nowhere near as fat as Mexico. Mexico beat America on the obese chart a couple of years ago, America.

Holy cow, he's done gone all "Ricky Hatton" on us. There is no way he returns to boxing now, passed the point of no return. Enjoy your retirement Chino, drink one for me!!!
Dean, seriously, how many threads have you made so far about his weight? SMH. Let the guy live already bro. I know you are his fan but damn what the hell. You are the only one bringing up his weight so he can be made fun of. Let that legend live his life!

Gotta have respect for that man.
He was brought in to get crushed by Ortiz, he destroyed him.
Than Kahn.
Than it was Broner.
Than he gave Floyd hell.
Maidana fought everyone he was asked to, never complained, never called himself "A-Side". He was constantly the underdog.
He earned his big fights the hard way, and has earned his retirement fund.
He is probably the most loved fighter in terms of level of detractors. I mean who seriously hates Chino? btw he is seriously starting to live up to his nick name haha.
