Danny Garcia has won the vacant WBC welterweight belt thanks to a resourceful performance in a unanimous-decision victory over Robert Guerrero.
Garcia (32-0, 18 KOs) recovered from a slow start on Saturday night and largely controlled the later rounds to win a world title in just his second bout at 147-pounds.

SHow come you and your pops were just predicting a KO victory not more than 3 days ago?

Well, I guess when you are the "Gift", you can always count on winning 8 or 9 rounds even when you don't, right Danny Boy?
RG got a gift vs that bum that quit on his stool like a b1tch before RG got beat up. Nobody talks about that though. Bradley got a gift vs Pac and probably Ruslan who gave that dude brain damage. Everyone's gotten a decision go there at some point in life. Only Danny though has to hear about it over and over cuz he keeps on winning and that's all ya can say.
Elol dont confuse rooting for a fighter as condoning the fight as a even match lmfao.
This is what wrong with you fools, I cant root for anyone cause I have to tattoo that dude name on my chest for life in yall opinions lmfao, naw im rooting for this dude cause I dont like the next lmfao.
but yall sheltered nerds will never understand.
and was a mismatches all night, and you say no then YDKSAB (Trust me I talk boxing here with the real people who talk boxing here and we already knew this)
So Danny vs RG was a mismatch?? Lol but u repping RG crazy hard and had he won, you would have been hype. Since he lost, it was a mis match. The other guy lost to be before that and u was repping for him too before. He got out classed and quit like a b1tch. U was calling Ricans b1tches but your boy quit on the stool.

wow I really don't know what you guys were watching I had it 116 - 112 for Guerrero and thought he won fairly easily even though it was competitive. The first round I gave Danny was the 6th Guerrero boxed really well behind the double jab which stopped Danny getting his range and was constantly pressuring and landing straight lefts and tagging him with combinations which stopped Danny counter-punching effectively. Eventually Danny started to tie Guerrero up on the inside when G rushed in without setting up with the jab first and occasionally would land a hard counter. But these had little effect on Guerrero who outworked and outboxed him throughout the majority of the fight. Garcia had no idea how to deal with the pressure and boxing behind the jab of Guerrero and he was reduced to clinching at every opportunity because he couldn't compete on the inside or running away. The only success he had was when put his head down and swung for the fences and that was only very occasionally. when the read out the scores as 116 -112 I thought they had finally managed to score a fight for the deserved winner for a change and not the guy who is supposed to win. I should have know it's as ****ing corrupt as always. I didn't watch with commentary, how did they score it?
Farhood was worse, he had it like 9-3 Garcia.
mis matches mexican compete till they cant, champion puerto ricans quits lmfao.
funny how yall reaching for W's, enjoy it.
We know whats up.
Best vs Best hoericans bow down!!!!!!!!!
FACTS
Mexicans quit on the stool! Lol stfu bro. And RG got the sweat knocked off of his head all night. And now they was "mis matches".
I agree with you, Danny showed some power when he connects but still no t enough for him to win it but looked good in the last few rounds though, I had it 115-113 for the ghost or a draw. Kell Brook or Thurman will rule this weight class for a long time...

A case could be made Garcia lost the first five rds. A flurry at the end of a Rd shouldn't win you the Rd. Danny was back pedaling all night. I wouldn't call it a robbery but Guerrero should have won 115-113
No way Guerrero won. Even if you give Guerrero 1-5, Garcia won 6-12 very clearly. 1 was a feeler out round, which was also Guerrero's clearest round. Garcia edged 2 or 3 (can't remember which exactly, but 1-5, Guerrero looked good. 6 on, Garcia dominated.

Guerrero has no power and speed at 147, its ridiculous how slow his punches are, not to say that he was almost kayod by a dude with 1% KO ratio. he is simply a shot, outgunned fighter... Garcia's best skill is cherry picking
I thought Garcia did a great job.
I had it even after 6, or maybe Guerrero up 4-2. There were a lot of close rounds in 2-5, so I half expected it to be even, but was thinking more 4-2 Guerrero on my actual card. Just saw some really close rounds.
From 6 on, I didn't give Guerrero another round.
I thought Garcia showed great composer. Guerrero was winning the first half and being really aggressive, but Garcia just hung in there, never panicked, and then took over and dominated the second half of the fight.

:lol1::lol1: he had Rosado over Clottey doe lol
He's only hyping up Rosado because he's Canelo's next opponent most likely. :lol1:
The only thing that gets him more upset than a Puerto Rican from Philly schooling a Mexican fighter is when a black fighter does it. And it happens a lot too. Dude must be ultra bitter as of late. :lol1:
