An apex predator, also known as an alpha predator, super predator, top predator or top-level predator, is a predator residing at the top of a food chain upon which no other creatures prey.
There are some who disagree that Khan essentially chased Mayweather into retirement but no one can genuinely deny that Floyd did avoid a fight with Khan. We don't need to retread old ground about how Khan won Floyd's official poll to be his next opponent only for Floyd to back out and fight the loser of the poll, someone Khan had already beaten: Maidana.
Recently, Pacquiao did a similar thing. It seems he avoided Khan to face Bradley for a 3rd time. Ironically, just a few years earlier, Bradley admitted on live radio that Khan was too risky a fight which he could lose, so he avoided him too. This means that Pacquiao just avoided Khan to fight someone who previously avoided Khan - and to fight him for the 3rd time! This is the scenario we are seeing unfold with Pac vs Bradley 3. Two fighters who avoided Khan to face each other.
And of course it's well known that Beristain pulled Marquez out of negotiations a few years ago because he thought Marquez had no chance and that he'd be "used as a stepping stone" for Khan.
That's 3 ATGs avoiding Khan -- - Mayweather, Pacquiao and Marquez. Plus Bradley to boot, a high rated fighter too.
At one point, all 4 fighters were probably somewhere in Top 5 P4P fighters of the day (Marquez and Bradley achieving the positions when they beat Pacquiao).
So, Khan has been avoided by some of the very best fighters of the generation, the top P4P boxers of our time.
If the perceived top of the food chain, the perceived alphas within the boxing world are avoiding one particular fighter, and they are avoiding him collectively, and avoiding him publicly for the world to see, there can really be no debate that there is an apex predator above them all.

Sounds like your getting your excuses in early...
We all know Khan is the underdog in the fight for the reasons I mentioned. He'll be the underdog with the bookies, and he already said himself he knows he's the underdog. So looks like you've got "being realistic" confused with "getting excuses in". Haters gonna hate I guess.
The way I see it, it depends on whether Khan can retain his speed at 155, which I think he should be able to. If so, he should be able to outbox Canelo for the majority of the rounds but Canelo can definitely bang so there is a risk of him changing the course of the fight with his power. So many question marks because of the weight, it's difficult to predict but that actually makes the fight all the more intriguing for me.
I give Canelo 60-40 shot of winning because it's the first time Khan's fighting above 147 and not only that but he's fighting one of the best fighters at the weight without taking a tune up at the weight class (sort of how JMM jumped up to fight Mayweather). Also, since Canelo is now the Goldenboy cash cow, even if Khan wins the fight, there's a huge probability the judges will rob him. Lot of things going against Khan in this one.

Do you think he will win?.....or even has a chance?
How do you think this fight will play out?

Khan said he'd fight Floyd or Pacquiao for free. He's already one of the most well-paid boxers in the world with all his sponsorship deals, obviously it's nothing to do with money, it's all about the glory. The kid wants to fight the best, that's the bottom line.

Doesn't this really just show how desperate for $$$ he is??? If dog pound put up the right amount of money he'd prob take on yusof mack in a no holes barred type scuffle.

Nope, but .....
The Apex predator stalks it's pray and overpowers them.... Like a big Cat or a Bear....
Amir is more like a pack of wolves... He can overpower weaker pray but must harass stronger "Apex Predators"....
With enough relentless harassment a wolf pack will drive away a large Grizzly from it's pray... Nipping away just out of reach, but pays a huge price if caught.....
If Amir can be disciplined enough to stay out of harms way and execute his game plan, he can overcome like the wolf pack.....
If he strays away from that plan against a stronger foe with real wiskers and gets caught, it's Sayonara...
That's Amir Kahn to me in a nutshell...
Khan is like a high school kid who decides he is only going to date supermodels.
The high school kid ends up a virginia and Khan ends up fighting below his station (or not fighting at all).
this is pretty much it. I'd have loved if floyd had fought kahn instead of berto but kahn didn't do enough to really force the fight. He just sat around talking instead of fighting.

His best bet for the past 5 years would have been to keep busy 2 or 3 times a year against decent opposition and make himself unavoidable.
Gay and retarded! Smh khan has lesser opponent problems such as Prescott and Garcia. Khans got Kell Brook problems. Whom khan has been avoiding constantly. Khans got a big ass ***** of a mouth problem, which talks his sorry ass out of big fights. Khans got a ego problem w only Him and You trying to build his pedestal up to something it's not! He's a B level fighter, always have been ! Always will be!
