Not criticising boxingscene here, it's their job to generate hits, but if you go by the number of headlines that Golovkin's name appears in these days it seems like he has supplanted Floyd as the biggest driver of web traffic in the sport.

It's the same pretty much every week. Seems like Golovkin is the go-to guy for clicks nowadays.
between the articles themselves, and all the hate threads started by O'moron Tribe (Larry), the fakepugilist, etc, etc, I wouldnt be surprised if close to HALF of all Bscene traffic was GGG related.......
You either love him or hate him it appears. Kind of sounds like Floyd a little bit......
Even most of the Ward articles eventually transform into GGG articles somehow. Goes to show you that dominant KO victories still count.
He's definitely surpassing both Mayweather and Pacquiao as the fighter you can't go in any thread and have an actual conversation about. It 100% will devolve into 50 pages of jackasses saying stupid sh*t to either suck his balls or hate on him.
GGG is no young buck, he should have hit the ground running... At this pace, he's still crawling. Thankfully his style isnt dependent on reflexes and speed, and since power is the last thing to go... He should still have a few years left to become a decent draw.
He didn't have much say there, he wasn't born a red headed Mexican, never repped PR in the Olympics. At the time the only game in town for a guy like him was Germany, and they had more marketable champs to protect, as Germany is concerned.
After ktfo6 and the Mayweather debacle, P@ct@rds have become G0l0vt@rds in a retarded seizure of self defense.
The Philippines are so awesome that nobody has to work, hence the large number of retarded threads.
He may be the "go to" for clicks online but that certainly didn't help his PPV which bombed at 97k.
You love trotting this number out as if its some indictment against GGG as a fighter. Do you choose everything you like based on sales numbers? I assume you're a big Bieber fan then?
You gotta start somewhere. When boxing was more popular Floyd did 350k in his debut as an A minus side, or probably 240k if Glaser had been around to tell the truth on twitter
But hey, putting me on ignore minutes after I schooled you in your own thread lol, that's cowardly. That's why they call them "cowardly alts", Larry. While your main account is banned, you should probably study up on Hitler. It's both more interesting and productive than spamming the board with tons more lame threads

Seems like most of his fans would much rather read about him and fantasize about him fighting live opponents than actually shelling out a few bucks to watch him fight.
Larry makes Golovkin threads now :lol1:
GGG has got hardcore boxing on lock, but he has yet to fully connect with a wider audience like a Pacquiao or Mayweather.
At 34 his window of opportunity is closing but he's good for at least 2 years I think. Hard to see the current crop of MWs beating him.
I'm interested to see how much longevity GGG's career is gunna have. Fortunately for him his skills rely on basic fundamentals and power. He's not someone who relies on speed or athleticism which tend to fade quicker.
could be mayweather been dying out here way before he fought pacquaio and berto jsut his fans create threads to keep talking about him take larryx for instance, he would make like 5-10 floyd threads aday.
