You may disagree with me but I know Wilder is a good fighter, 35-0 and 34 knockouts, no doubt he’s good, but he likes to show off, he lost it earlier when he nearly thrashed Szpilka on the show. Szpilka is young, 26. He is gonna put end to Wilder’s streak and get the WBC heavyweight belt.
I think Wilder won’t last longer than 6 rounds… What do you guys think?
Intriguing as I can only recall Wilder fighting 1 southpaw in Audrey. However Szpilka likes to fight on the outside where he's not good making big guys give up their reach, he's extremely easy to hit and has an average at best chin. Would love Szpilka to wipe him clean out with a left cross but its highly unlikely, the perfect should-be-easy defense.
Szpilka has a decent speed and footwork, at least compared to Wilder's recent opponents. I've read some interviews with him, and it looks like he might go to the body more often than he usual does, maybe it's just BS, who knows. He's a southpaw and has a decent pop, he might put Wilder down with a counter and finish him off.
He's too brave when he gets hurt though, kind of like Khan. And he will get hurt at some point of the fight, well see how he'll react this time.
I think this fight will be pretty entertaining. The only people who complain about it are Fury fanboys (they keep forgetting who had Fury fought before Klitschko,) and Haymon detractors.
Martin/Glazkov should be good too.
Looking forward to Saturday :boxing:
