DAVID HAYE insists Tyson Fury is not in his plans as he targets the IBF and WBC world heavyweight champions.
The Hayemaker makes his comeback against Aussie Mark de Mori at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday after three-and-a-half years out. Click Here To Read More]
I'm thinking Haye is too much for Wilder. Wilder's footwork is ridiculous, and he's still too green for any real challenge. Doubt Wilder would sign for a Haye fight though.... but he is slowly painting himself into a corner and soon enough won't have any options. Haye himself is just in it for the money now, but he'd still have enough for Wilder, assuming Wilder even gets past Povetkin.
Haye's likely got more rust than the tin man's uncle. I'd be very wary in making any forecasts for him until this Saturday, since all signs point to a diminished fighter.
I don't think Haye is ducking Fury at all. Fury was one who said he wanted nothing to do with Haye, so how does that make Haye the ducker. Also why would Haye step in the ring with Klitschko but not want Fury? Makes very little sense to me. I just hope Haye looks good in his upcoming fight so it can line up for a title fight. Haye may talk a lot but he is a good fighter that always entertains the crowd.

how is so? Vitali was never stripped, he quit. Steverne then took it legit, and then Wilder legitimized it.
I don't see how Wilder legitimised it. If anything, the win legitimised Wilder, since a minority of people thought he'd beat Stiverne.
The only way the WBC becomes legit is if Wilder beats a few more live bodies like Povetkin or wins a unification with Fury. At the moment it's a paper belt, much like the IBF.
The wbc is just as much a paper title as the ibf

if haymon wins, why would he give haye a shot?
Damn you right , Haye next fight should the current IBF International & IBF Inter-Continental Erkan Teper this way Haye move up in the IBF ranking and the fight is order

Champion: Tyson Fury
#1 Wladimir Klitschko
#2.Deontay Wilder
#3 Alexander Povetkin
#4 Luis Ortiz
#5 Bryant Jennings
Interesting strategy which could prove very lucrative in the long run. If Haye beats Wilder he sets up a massive unification bout with Fury for the HW world titles in the UK. Packs out Wembley Stadium easily with 80,000. Not only will it be an historic event, it will also include two of the most outspoken guys in the division. Those two will make a hell of a lot of money with that fight, especially if they're both world champs when it happens. What a potential match up if the pieces fall into place.
You're talking about Haye as if he still has fire and ambition. He's just in it for the money now. Meaning quick easy cash he doesn't have to get out of bed for. Besides, how outspoken was he when the fight was actually on? He looked bored and disinterested even then, and left it to Fury to carry the show.
Now? Just look at him man.

come on man Real heavyweight champion? I dont think fury could even beat wilder...
Yes, after beating Wlad he's the real heavyweight champion. Are you simple or something?

Ibf is a paper title at hw. But wbc is legit. If Haye can get two he deserves his props. U can not be a unified paper champ

Haye knows that the real heavyweight champion would give him a boxing lesson, and he would never live it down. That's why he's content to duck him and target a pair of bums in Martin/Glazkov and a novice in Anthony Joshua.
How anyone can still be a fan of this conman is beyond me.

Haye, stop the Hate
Haye is a really good fighter who just talks to much. It's obvious he wants no part of fury. Haye definitely ducked fury twice and now that he was mysteriously cured of his ailment he wants to avoid the man, so he gets a title shot at an illegitimate champion who has yet to be crowned.....joke
