Why do people even get excited for Danny Garcia fights now?

If Golovkin is the most ducked fighter of this generation, Danny Garcia is the opposite. Everyone wants/wanted a piece, or another piece, of him, which included Mayweather and Pacquiao. Maidana wanted Garcia for his comeback fight. There was also Broner. Matthysse, Herrera, Khan wanted a rematch. Garcia thumbed his nose to all of them. He gave retired Erik Morales a rematch without the usual pu55iness. where do you get your info bro?!?....you're trying too hard!!...let the hate take it's own course, don't push it because then you begin to say dumb sh*t like the bs you just posted!! Swift won the WBC title from the Legend....the Legend wouldn't be the old warrior he is without REAL man balls, heart and pride....so he exercised the REMATCH CLAUSE that was in the contract for their FIRST fight....Angel ASKED for Chino, do your research...but THOROUGHLY!!!!!

Of course he was the king of the division. How can you dispute that? Khan-Garcia was for the lineage. Then after that the universal best two fighters at the weight were himself and Matthysse and he beat him. If Danny wasn't the man at 140 then who was?

For me there's been a comedic element to some of his recent fights - I go in ready to laugh...for some reason lately I just get a kick out of watching him struggle. It's like why did he even take this fight, and now that he has, what is he doing getting his nose all busted up in process. I think it started with the "I'M COMING HOOMMMEE" promotion for that Herrera fight. Cringeworthy stuff and it's been a running joke ever since - I realize it's just temporary though, I don't really hold it against him either, just waiting for bigger things from him. I got tickets for the fight myself, getting ready for another action-comedy. Danny is tough Guerrero is tough so I think it could be good, he might bust Danny's face up.

He's not even the best fighter in the division. I think Porter, Brook, Bradley, Pacquaio, Thurman beat him. Depending on which Khan shows up he would take the rematch. If you said he's one of the best in the world at the end of 2013 I'd agree with you but since then he's been terrible. Fighting Z level fighters and looking terrible against fringe contenders. Look at what Lucas did to Peterson compared to how much Garcia struggled against. Look at how other elite fighters took Paulie out of the fight compared to Garcia. They put Garcia against Paulie to get an easy finish but it was far from it. He also got out of 140 just as it was heating up. Imagine what Crawford would have done to him, and he also ducked Postol. Not a fair assessment, he's a former jr welterweight champion and is still undefeated. He is a world class fighter and deserves his respect, boxing is a business and there is not one fighter who has always fought the best of the best every single fight back to back. I would not be surprised if he become the number # 1 welterweight champion at welter to be honest.

I never said I didn't like him. Guerrero has above average inside game and Danny doesn't seem to have any at all. If Guerrero smothers him and makes him fight on the inside from the gate, its over for Danny.

In all honesty Herrera beat him without a doubt and Lamont was just not a good look for him. I think if Guerrero uses the same strategy that Lamont used for the last rounds but does it right from the gate Danny will be in deep doodoo. why do you put a limit on GGG taking on guys at 175 why not 265?? The guy comes in the ring as a light heavyweight....170+ fight night...Before he retires he'll at least have fought at 168 or higher a few times Why do people act like its a bad thing when talking about GGG going up in weight eventually?

Garcia is a good fighter, but certain things bother him. He looks vulnerable to a well timed jab and straight punches.. Danny wants guys to attack, as he is not very good coming forward. He wants to counter guys coming at him with his hooks. If Guerrero fought disciplined, I think he would have a good shot. The problem is he has not remembered to use his boxing skills for a long time and he will walk right into Danny's wheel house.

i thought his fight with paulie was boring Just what I was about to say. That was a **** fight that I nearly fell asleep during. Even the ref was bored and stopped the fight via gift TKO.

you said alcine beat lemiuex imlying that ggg's win over lemieux was somehow effected by a fight that happened over 4 years ago, yet in the same breath you are hyping up garcia-guerrero even though for years guerrero has looked terrible and has taken 2 losses(should be 3) why don't you apply the same logic that you had from the ggg-lemiuex fight to the garcia-guerrero fight? don't you hurt yourself doing these mental gymnastics just to support certain fighters? why can't you just be honest and say guerrero's on a bad run just like lemiuex was on a good run when ggg fought him. instead you go into cherry picking contradict yourself every which way mode. Wrong guy. I always said i didnt know he still fought and even though i didnt think highly of Lemeiex he had a punchers chance and that the fight was a step in the right direction for GGG. My complaint was that it was PPV.
