Of course it could go the other way when they wait him out until he doesn't have much left, but I think ti will go the other way and he will have a few very high quality fights and performances right at the end after having been avoided for many years.
yep even berto......a two time ww champion. who is greater than berto on ggg's resume? floyd has 20 wins that are better than ggg's best win. if i were a ggg fan i wouldn't go there.
don't worry i won't argue with your Berto better name argument, i will just be wasting my time.
Berto??? lol keep dreaming bro. like i said Mayweather is a master manipulator and trolls like you will believe anything.

Jesus man he has several options and turned down the biggest one in Ward but Degale,Andrade,Lara all have called him out and are willing to fight him,but his team always turns their noses up when fighters pursue a fight with him

every last one of those fighters are better than ggg's best win.

My god, that was the most brilliant post I have ever seen. Truth hurts doesn't it Larry?
i will elaborate more on why the ward offer was complete and utter nonsense and how ggg never "ducked" ward, and how simply saying something doesn't actually make it true. a shocking revelation!
ggg tried to fight ward in the past when he made his 154-168 comment and ward said he wasn't ready
fast forward to current times when ggg said he was staying at 160 and ward offers ggg a 50-50 split for a fight at the end of 2016 at 168
ggg is already much more popular than ward so that 50-50 split is pretty insane right off the bat but if we delve even deeper...
ward knows ggg is fighting canelo in 2016 before him, odds are that ggg will almost certainly win that fight and his popularity will skyrocket, and even in defeat his popularity probably goes up a ton....so why in the world would ggg lock in a 50-50 split before fighting the biggest fight of his career? that would be pure insanity. that would be like floyd before fighting oscar locking in a 50-50 split with cory spinks. are these people even trying to use their brains?
ggg turned down ward in 36 minutes! yea it took 36 minutes for them to figure out what a joke this was. its' been months and some posters still can't figure it out. keep trying!
Not even close to the same..GGG fighting Ward would =daring to be great
Lara was always the best at 154, and Floyd avoided him like the plague, and instead chose to fight the slow plodding fighter, instead of the skilled technician that cant draw flies to ****.
Sound like anyone you know?
Jesus christ man let it go. The Ward offer was BS. You dont call someone out and say "but but next year doe". And why do you pretend that HBO and Haymon have kissed and made up? You list a light heavy who needs tune ups, 2 Haymon fighters, and a 154 pounder who has fought 2 rounds in the past 18 months.
Are you really this stupid?
nevermind, dont answer that........
My god, that was the most brilliant post I have ever seen. Truth hurts doesn't it Larry?
How much harder did it need to be? The champion who ducked Hagler the most was Hugo Corro and he wasn't American. So what advantage did Hagler have as an American Fighter? You're not even making sense.
hagler had the american market behind him. if corro didn't want to fight him that's on him. did hagler eventually get the big fights? yes. and why? because he was in the american market. do you think people would fight ggg if he had the kazakh market behind him? no, that's why he came here, but it obviously took longer to establish himself than a guy who is homegrown like ward for example. that's why its so silly to compare their ages/careers since they took completely different paths.
You know so much about boxing that you claimed Golovkin would be "bloated" at 168 LOL.
Also, Mayweather just "survived" against Pacquiao. As I said before, stupid and uniformed. Now come back with another long response. I've obviously hit a nerve. The truth hurts lol
Hit a nerve, no I just have to elaborate to a birdbrain like yourself. But it's obvious you went through all my threads looking for a comeback so maybe I hit a nerve of yours.
I didn't say GGG would be bloated at SMW but he doesn't have to fight there and he'll be a small SMW.
And even Floyd's daddy said he was scared to fight. He fought to survive because he damn sure didn't fight to knock Manny out.
Now give it up fanboy and stop looking for reasons to hate fighters.
More like obviously hit the g button twice on accident. But I'm assuming you aren't stupid and knew that. As I spelt Hagler correctly multiple times throughout the post.
GGG career isn't done but he has done what he should do becoming the best MW of today just Hagler did in his time.
Looking at your post history it's obvious your uninformed and spend more time debating about how much you don't like a fighter compared to actually bringing knowledge. I defend GGG, Bradley, Manny, Crawford, and several other fighters against fanboys like you. IDGAF what some little troll like you think.
I also spend my time answering questions about the in and outs of the sport when posters ask and guys like you aren't anywhere to be found.
You can miss me with your arrogance because I've forgot more about the sport then you'll ever know and I'm still young and learning everyday.

The only fighters that guy likes, happen to be black. Go figure.
The only fighters you hate are black. With every one of your multiple screenames. Go figure.
lets use catch phrases to make our opinion sound more important shall we.
Floyd fighting Berto... daring to be great, floyd fighting paquio 5 years removed.... daring to be great. floyd fighting oritiz... daring to be great, floyd fighting maidana (with supersized gloves) daring to be great.
every last one of those fighters are better than ggg's best win.

Hagler is not under appreciated. He's an all time great and considered one of the best middleweights in history. Golovkin has done nothing to even be in the same conversation as Hagler.
The fact that you're putting Golovkin and Hagler in the same category confirms how terrible you are as a poster.
You are so right. GGG needs to wait until the welterweights move up to middleweight so he can fight them. Without Hearns and Leonard, Hagler is nothing but a guy who beat the only 160 pounders who dared to fight him.
Come on welterweights, get on the fvcking ball and make a move!
First of all, you can't even spell "Hagler"correctly. That speaks for itself. Second, Golovkin has done absolutely nothing to be compared to Hagler. Third, all anybody has to do is look at your post history to see how stupid and uniformed you are.

Haggler is certainly under appreciated. Talked about much less than Leonard, Duran, and Hearns. Even in the 80's Hagler to give into the demands of his more popular opponents even though he was champion.
And I'm a terrible poster because you want to live in la la land as if history started when you was born. Look I understand you know nothing about boxing and that's ok. But in one point in time people said the same about Jones, Toney, Hopkins, Hagler, Monzon, Lamotta, Bastillio, and Robinson when compared too the legends before them.
Sometimes your wrong and sometimes your right but stop being an ******* because someone doesn't agree with your opinion.
20 years from now some loser just like you is going be saying the same thing about comparing the next middleweight protege to GGG. You're not special and you not anymore of boxing fan than Me or Any other poster on this board.

now imagine if hagler was from kazakhstan. how much harder would it have been for him to get the best in the ring? yet we have people pretending that everything starts out equal and a guy from the states and a guy from kazakhstan start out with the same status and opportunities in boxing.

I think it'll be very similar. Haglee had more a rough start in his career because he reach the same success as a amateur and took a few early losts but once he found his stride there wasn't anything holding him back. It took him a while to gain the championship because he didn't have a strong backing.
In that regards GGG has been more fortunate getting the full support of HBO.
Both guys will be Under-appreciated fighters because there biggest wins will be against what certain fight fans consider smaller fighters but really who cares what they think.
