He gives his reason as to why Golden Boy passed on fighting GGG in May. He believes it has a lot to do with the trial court case they have coming up in May with All-Star Boxing (Canelo's old promoter). Says that Golden Boy basically lost and/or will lose the case, it's just a matter of how much money will they be ordered to pay in punitive damages. And that if the amount is high, both Golden Boy and Canelo will be on the hook. So Canelo will be forced to fight GGG later just to pay off the bill cause Golden Boy won't have enough money, and Canelo is a co-defendant in the case. Says he believes GGG will win.
