Khan brings the most money at 147, after Mayweather and Pacquiao.
And, Khan obviously brings in way more money than Maidana and Berto combined.
So, why did Floyd Mayweather who is known to be a shrewd businessman and all about the money, pick lesser money options?
It's a pretty simple choice, isn't it?
Fight a guy who brings a lot of money vs. Fight a guy who brings in less money than the other guy.
So, why would a fighter choose the less money option?
Yeah khan is an inch or two taller and Floyd has an inch longer in arm span. But pacquaio was much shorter and his hands were much shorter as well.
I think Floyd would pull off the win.
Khan isn't much taller than Floyd. Maybe an inch.
Floyd has the longer reach.

Manny was slow af when he fought Floyd. He was also tiny in comparison and struggled with Floyd's reach and height. Khan won't have those same problems.

That's what the world said about manny. Despite being more skilled than Amir, manny could only win like 2 rounds. Speed alone isn't so advantageous when your opponent is in the same league of speed.
Methodical guys with awkward and unusual ways to time Floyd have traditionally troubled Floyd: Maidana, Cotto, JLC

This one sentence pretty much sums up Amir. People mistaken his handspeed for skills and wrongfully believe he can pull off amazing feats because of it.
In reality he's a pretty consistent underperformer.
He didn't impressively beat any opponent he was supposed to lose to. His most impressive displays were against Devon (not very good), Zab (talented but way past it by then), and Paulie (limited fighter).
If you actually look at Khan, he has poor technique.
Amir will have no answer once his jab gets neutralized by Floyd outjabbing him
I've heard people talk about Khan's jab, but I don't think it's anything special.
I think people confuse a quick jab with a good one.
I just don't think Khan can outthink Floyd.
It'd be like chess vs. checkers.
The thing is that even if your opponent isn't a hard puncher, it's still not a good idea to keep getting hit. Khan has no head movement.
Unless you're Hopkins or Rigondeaux you're not outthinking Floyd. But what would make it interesting is Khans blazing handspeed and if he can land on Mayweather.
The only reason this fight is interesting is because I believe khan can land on Mayweather, I'm not saying he'll beat him but just watching a guy who can hit Floyd for a change would be good.
No doubt but Khan has never struggled against a pure boxer in his pro career. The last time he did was in the Olympic finals against a world reknowned Cuban when he was ONLY 17!!!!
And funny you mention Alexander, he done a much better job on Maidana then both Floyd and Khan.

Floyd is on another level than Alexander.

I'm just trying to figure out what Khan did to go from a bum to someone mayweather ducked since the time he picked Maidana over him. Most people on this fight thought May weather rigged his website for Khan to win since literally every other poll had Maidana winning comfortably.
That's exactly how I remember it. Khan was the cherrypick, and he's done **** all since then.
And Peterson never hurt khan. Have you forgotten how many shots Peterson ate to get his punches off? He was down 3 times in the opening 2 rounds.
Floyd would just adjust.
Khan has a low ring IQ, and poor defense.
Peterson isn't a puncher either.
Floyd would just time Khan.
