FIVE HBO PPVs in 6 months...WTF!?!?!

Canelo vs Rosado is a sh*t fight, I would not support that unless it's part of a split site ppv like the one Sugar Adam Ali suggested. Pacquiao vs Bradley III is so unappealing to me that it's not even funny. The only way I'd even consider buying is if the undercard was stacked. But it's Top Rank so you know that is never going to happen. Canelo-Golovkin and Ward-Kovalev would be the only ones I'd happily come out of pocket for. Kovalev-Stevenson as well but that one better be reasonably priced or have interesting supporting fights.

True. GGG vs. Canelo on Cinco de Mayo weekend would do numbers. Pac v Crawford is a toss up and Kov v Stevenson is an unknown. Even so, they're marketable matchups that can get people excited if promoted properly. Boxing could load up the cards anytime they wanted to. A UFC PPV does good if it sells 400k. Boxing gots to do 1M+ for it not to be a failure in about half of fans minds. UFC puts on events, Boxing puts on fights. Thats the difference with the sports across the board. And really thats the US market largely cuz the UK PPV's (that I've seen anyway) do a good job of making a PPV event with many interesting fights. US PPV's are one fight + filler fights, maybe one legit interesting fight if we're lucky. This is why people ***** about PPV's. The entire value of the PPV is put on one fight & not into an event. Idk I just know I completely understand people being unhappy with how boxing puts forth PPV cards & its a model which is destined to fail while continuing to make boxing a smaller & smaller niche sport. Part of having a successful PPV is having Casuals just as interested in a match up as Hardcore Fight Fans! I doubt Canelo's tune up for Golovkin will be on PPV. It'll be regular HBO. Canelo's stay busy fight will not air on PPV. I mean, it's gonna be against Rosado FFS. It might be if it's a split site PPv with golovkin co-main eventing.. I can see hbo PPv New York- Golovkin vs Saunders or Eubanks , with roman gonzalez on indercard Las Vegas/Texas/LA Canelo vs rosado, with maybe Estrada on the undercard.. Sets up roman-Estrada 2 for the summer and canelo/GGG in the fall.. Only way I can see it on PPv

Was just watching Eddie Hearn interview with Krugan talking about the negativity for PPV's and then the Joshua fight turning around and doing very well. You know what...SHUT THE FUK UP BOXING FANS! So you mean to tell me UFC fans can support their sport by buy PPV's Once a month but Boxing Fans are B1tching about a few PPV Events a year while most of the year boxing is Free or on Subscription TV? Stop being CHEAP, boxing really don't ask you for much but yet fans sure do ask for A LOT but yet they don't want to pay for sh1t If I was Oscar and Tom Loeffler tell the fans hey you know what, lets see how much you guys want GGG vs Canelo, support their next PPV and if the Numbers comeback good for both...THEN THEY WILL FIGHT!
