Ortiz knows how to transfer his body weight into hooks and uppercuts but looks very clumsy at long range for a man with with so much amateur experience.
The uppercuts he was hurting Jennings with wouldn't be much use against Fury.
Tyson would give him a boxing lesson.
Ortiz by KO.
Fury's only hope is to run away and hope for a split decision.
Fury should fight his rematch and Wilder before he fights Ortiz.
Then at least he'll have a nice nest egg to retire on.
Ortiz looks like the real deal to me. Dangerous fighter. But Fury is a master boxer, elusive, high ring IQ, and he also loves to trade, so I see Fury out boxing him and frustratrating him early, Ortiz adjusting and hurting Fury, then Fury turning it on and mauling him to a brutal stoppage.
I see Fury out thinking Ortiz to a UD after a few hairy moments.
Need to see more of Ortiz against other top ten guys though, to get a better handle on him.
*****s voting for Ortiz doe lmfao this forum is too much

The best educated guess I can give is Fury wins by decision.
Fury's movement, reach and stamina will be bad for Ortiz.
I think Wlad and Fury would both be really bad for Ortiz but Wlad would probably worse because I think eventually Ortiz would start getting hit by bombs later in the fight.
Even Wilder with his power, reach, and youth could give Ortiz plenty of trouble.
Jennings didn't have the luxury of picking Ortiz apart at long range and getting out safely. Klitschko, Fury and Wilder DO have that luxury...and Wlad and Wilder have the power to keep Ortiz honest and Fury would be hard to catch as well as being pretty gritty.
Ortiz has a chance against any of those 3 heavyweight fighters but Wilder would be the most likely one he could beat.
Ortiz is not a scared man like Klitschko. Also his boxing skills are much better than Fury's. Power is on another level.
Fury will duck him. He can't fight Ortiz like he fought Klitschko, he would eat uppercuts till he goes to sleep.
He wouldn't fight Ortiz the same as Wlad. He would still have to make great use of his feints though, try to force Ortiz to throw a counter then launch a counter-counter when he opens up. Ming games will be crucial here, just as they were before.

I think Fury manages to get him out of there after sustaining damage in a war, certainly wouldn't be confident though.
Ortiz is legit, dangerous, dangerous fighter.
