Ah that sucks.
Yeah the Framp/Quigg winner would be huge for Santa Cruz.
The Mares victory wasn't enough for some boxing fans. Leo needs another big win to get the fans on his side.
He lost a lot of momentum last year. The Mares fight was a solid win. Rigo would be real tough for Leo. I just want to see the best fights in the division.
Aw man... lol, his dad pretty much admitting his son would lose.
I admit I don't like Rigo style but you can't force people to fight a certain type of way however I would like to see Rigo keep his style but add a bit more flair to it, step inside give a spiteful combo move back out or clinch to avoid being tagged, anything just a little less of this constant on the back foot.
Who's Rigo's promoter? Any chance he works with Haymon? I'd love to see this fight.
Oh yeah, Rigo just signed with Roc so I guess that's not gonna happen. Maybe the Frampton/quigg winner sometime in June.
People need to let Rigo go. This dude does nothing for anyone unless they're completely unknown. He has no value anymore.
His last opponent was completely unknown. He still did nothing, except throw 3 punches per round. He'll probably just run all night against Santa Leo.
Reality is rigo's last performance lost him some of his few fans, even among cubans and he's got nobody to blame but himself.
The problem is that LSC father has been making the same excuse since even before Rigo beat Donaire. At a point he move up to and left the belt to avoid the talk about Rigo and still making excuses.
I understand his father, he doesn't wants his kid looking like this

He needed to do something like this instead of that bullsh1t he did on the Cotto Canelo ppv.
Why can't LSC do this to him? Is he not as good as Amagasa?:

Bro, I hate Santa Cruz but at this point, Rigo can't be mad at anyone but himself. That performance last month was horrendous.

Are you from the WBO, If we can't beat the guy in the ring, let's beat him with politics.
Boxing is like a telenovela now.

No point talking about this fight. LSC has moved up to Featherweight recently, holds a title in that division and said he's staying there.
Rigo said he was too small to fight at Featherweight, which is understandable.
LSC could keep doing his thing at Featherweight and get good purses. As for Rigo who knows what he'll do, not sure HBO will accept him again, but good luck to him.
A win would put LSC on the pound for pound list immediately. That would be a huge marketing tool for him. He's not interested in the fight because it's too risky and not enough reward. In other words he can't win and a loss would kill his momentum.
The only time fighters turn down opportunities to face the best is when they don't believe they can win. Donaire vs. Rigo happened because they both felt they could win.
You described Floyd. Last good dude he fought in his prime was probably Castillo.
Ppl can also have to worry about being in one of the worst fights of the year f*cking with him cuz he just doesn't fight. Ppl say Floyd is boring but he's an action fighter compared to what Rigo did last time out.

Nah, F*ck Rigo!! I'm not defending anything that has to do with him after the fight he put on last time out. I was so happy he got that chance and talked him up so crazy during the fight party. I was embarrassed to see the performance he put on after that. At this point, all these fighters have legit reasons to avoid this dude.

This is why canelo deserves respect.
High risk low reward and looked bad fighting that style but still managed to get the win...
Next ggg will be ko in 7.
