His wins are controversial, he rarely beats anyone soundly. Hell, even the wide scores from the Cotto fight have come under assault. Canelo could very easily be 44-3 right now. Golovkin has an aura of invincibility around him unlike any other fighter today - nobody is even close. Not Kovalev, not Fury, not Ward, not even Gonzalez is seen as untouchable. If Canelo beats him, truly beats him, it cements his legacy as a great fighter in my eyes. On the other hand, if Canelo goes down twice but somehow wins on points via a SD, I'll be pretty pissed.
