He lost to thurman and probably should have lost to martinez last time out. But I think guerrero is highly motivated for this one and with his rugged style will be a problem for danny, who hasn't exactly looked great in recent fights either. Hopefully it's a great fight whoever wins
If the Ghost uses his jab and straight left, he should be able to outbox Garcia. I think he'll try to make it ugly though and just make things harder on himself.

I would take Guerrero in a second with good odds in Vegas. My feeling is that these guys are evenly matched. Garcia has more power and Guerrero has more output, both guys have looked better and worse on occasion. With a veritable 50 50 this one is ripe for a good bet.
I agree All those fights took something out of him. But out of those 3 fights, I believe guerrero may not have known what to expect from kamegai or martinez. They were seen as tuneups over nobody's, but they came to fight.
Guerrero was fully prepared for thurman but keith is just on another level. He'll be fully prepared for garcia, who I don't believe is on the same level as keith at ww.
I agree , sometimes fighters take it easy when they come back from a hard fights to recover, and end up underestimating a live opponent, could be the case for Martinez and Kamegai, i think Kamegai surprised everyone.

If Guerrero's wear and tear doesn't show up during the fight this can be a very predictable upset

When you go life and death with 2 guys in a row you consider "tuneups" then your best is well behind you.
Garcia should wax this dude but he's nothing special either.
Guerrero's done! Too much wear and tear on his body and he's taken too much punishment that has finally caught up with him. I wouldn't be shocked if Garcia stops him.
Regarding the last line, I'd expect better of you. Robert is a class act. A real humanitarian that isn't condemning or preachy. I think he's a wonderful example of how a person of faith can elevate humanity without getting in other people's business.
The dude who said "God put me here to humble Floyd Mayweather" isn't a condescending douchebag? Come on.
Guerrero is very shopworn but you never know he might have one good performance left in him. I think if Garcia can't hurt him early, it will be a long night for him in a tougher than expected fight, but still I favour Danny, he is too 'crispy' as Angel would say.

Guerrero messed with his career with long delays between fights, now he is trying to stay active but the damage is done. I also think he needs to quit that crossfit stuff. Its bad for you, it burns muscle.
Both Garcia and Guerrero have looked lousy in recent fights but Guerrero has really looked bad. Based on their last fights I have to make Garcia an easy winner. If Guerrero can fight as well as he did a few years ago then he could beat Garcia but how likely is that?
Martinez could have just been a bad night.
Or it could mean that he's significantly declined.
We won't know until fight night. I like this bout, though, and I think Guerrero has a solid chance to win.
Fuck that bible toting fanatical fucking douchebag though. I hope that somehow they both lose.
His cousin had just died so he may have been off his game.

Unfortunately, because I'm a fan of his, but I think Guerrero may be in decline as a fighter and I think Garcia may just find a way to stop him late in their fight. He's getting hit by punches which he wouldn't have earlier in his career and, just through his last few fights, has taken entirely too much punishment imo. I do think he'll give his best though and if he does truly have something left, we'll see it in the ring that night.
It could only because we don't know how Garcia will be at WW but if he carries his speed and power with no issues he should beat Gurrerro .
Danny hasn't had his speed in a while though. He's been a step slower in his last few, definitely not "swift" anymore and it's only going to be worse at 147. That said, I think Garcia brings power still and Gurrero is very easy to hit at 147. Robert can be unpredictable and awkward if he needs and if he were to smother Danny and throw him off his game early, who knows....
I'd love to see Guerrero win but predict that Garcia takes it, after which he'll get an even bigger backlash from people saying he's avoiding top competition.
