Why? what has he done to be a top fighter? edge by Ruslan after getting dropped like a sack of sh1t? Getting dropped 6 times against Pacquiao while looking like a complete novice? Wobble the always wobbled glass chin Khan? What make this new Jersey Shore looking guy a top fighter?
Have you ever even been in the ring? Laced up some gloves... And I don't mean playing with your butt buddy's from the block...
As a former boxer, I do know height can make extreme deference in a fight. Including when a much taller fighter is much slower than a smaller fighter. I myself have seen it, and done it.
Larry is pointing out a smaller Pacqauio put down Algeri 6 times and fools on here act like Broner would go like and death with a guy with no punching power, less skill and an obvious speed disadvantage
Algieri is slower than Broner then? Is that what you're saying?
Are you also stating that Broner hits hard enough to hurt Algieri? In fact, does he even get close enough to hit Algieri? Broner is a c level fighter at best, floundering at every step up he has ever taken.
Anyway, like I said, Broner is going to be kept away from any of the top 10-20 guys from 140-147 unless it's someone who is absolutely abysmal or small. So, the ALgieri fight is a pipe dream anyway plus the guy has bigger names on his radar.

To be fair it is only Khan fanboys that do this a lot.
Link for that? I heard Spence didn't take the Martinez bout, a guy that Sammy Vasquez is now fighting.
http://www.boxingscene.com/errol-spence-chris-algieri-luis-collazo-want-it--98697 thurman also wanted 10 million to fight spence.
he wanted no parts of spence when he was offered the fight.

Algieri will give most top WWs a tough time and will beat some of them. He's a good fighter not a great one. And as long as opponents don't act like fighting hims is doing the fans a favor and they will work up to fighting him, then he is a decent opponent.
I'd like to see Spence finally step up and fight Algeri.
Herrera was a tougher closer fight from what I remember. Algieri only lost the first round to Ruslan.

Mauricio didnt get his face turned to hamburger. Id say thats a better win.
As far as Chris goes, its the 48 fans juicing him up. He is a top fighter - top 15ish - but not top 5. More of a name than Leonard Bundu but in that realm.
Peterson v Algieri @ 147 would be a good fight.

Broner has gone life and death with guys inferior to algieri, Taylor being one of them. Are people back on this idea that broner is some great talent? Then you and that idiot Larry reference what pacquiao did to him? Haha

That's total BS. Your credibility goes down the toilet with a comment like that.
:Flush:
You think height doesn't matter in boxing? Is that your stance?
A don't even need to argue the Manny point as that's beside you, Larry, pretending you know boxing and then thinking height doesn't matter. Are you even serious?

haha that's a fight id want to see. Let Algieri get another win first and then ill entertain that... don't know if he could win but I'd want to watch it.

Because sometimes on NSB, whatever fighter wins the fight on a Saturday night, is the new p4p #1 hero.
"Yo but...I would like to see how Mayweather deals with Algieri's angles doe..."
"But doe, Algieri's jab doe... p4p as strong as Wlad's jab doe..."
etc.

He was used to pump up Pacquaio AND HIS FANATICS, not his true fans after getting KTFO by Marquez
3 non punching threats in a row....rios, Bradley then algieri
to build his confidence before cashing out
Algieri was undefeated and was a titlist, albeit the totally useless WBO belt
He was used by Arum to give of the illusion that Pacquaio of old was back...nothing more or less....now Top Rank has got on that horse, they have to ride it.
Broner last time I checked is 5'6".. Also a 5'5" Pacqauio dropped him 6 times. So it is feasible Broner could put a whooping on him.
