ps bonustrack:
Lies. Lara has been relentless for months, saying he will go up to 160 for GG. Just because he's taking fights at 154 doesn't mean his twitter isn't full of him calling out queen Golovkin.
The facts just aren't on your side. Won't stop you from getting all worked up and doing the next thing Golovkin fans always do which is get angry and throw stupid insults.
First off, I only insult those who insult me first. I punch back.
Second, calling someone out on Twitter, Lara has called Floyd out for two years, does that mean Floyd ducked him?
Third, it's more to do with politics, obstacles, and money. Lara can safely say GGG's name, because he knows he is behind a wall.
Lara's only manager knew the deal when he said GGG's team didn't think HBO would pay for Lara's fee.
Lara was relentless to fight Canelo, if he really wanted it he would need to find a way to get past the giant divide in how they pay for the fight.
You mean he came out and said hey I know Haymon can't work woth HBO, but I'll leave him to fight GGG. Or I demand he try! Is Lara really trying!
Anyways, Lara (Quillin, Jacob) is hiding behind a pay wall. He knows, as his manager recently said, GGG's team knew HBO wasn't about to pay Lara's fee.
They can't sell the fight yet (remember, as many point out, GGG isn't a PPV star yet). So someone has to get paid less. Lara is calling GGG, then it makes sense for him to offer to take it.
If he wanted GGG he would come out and say I'm asking Haymon to work a deal out, and I want this.
He would do the things he did to get Canelo.
I have no doubt team GGG would love to make the Lara fight workable (well if they can't land Canelo or Lee).
No way GGG is missing Canelo to fight the guy who lost to Canelo.
Wow, that's a pathetic reach....
He can't go fights others in their own weight class, they all have to come to him? Even when THEY have better resumes?
Lara is STILL waiting AND will go to Genady @ 160.
EDIT; Whoops, didn't realize this was just a troll using the AV of a legit poster here. Nevermind.
Yea it's ok for danny garcia to stay at junior welterweight for a year and half with catchweights because he can't make 140 or Canelo to camp out at 155 but since GGG can comfortably make weight at 160 (his most recent 30 day weighin was 165) he's supposed to move up to the SMW division. The fact of the matter is that Golovkin is a Middleweight. It's a prestigious weight class and that is what he is. Of course he is willing to possibly take a shot at SMW but only for a mega fight. Should Ward actually do something in the next year and gain some recognition, then a fight would definately make sense. Right now, he's a nobody undecided on which SMW he wants to drag up to LHW.
So Little G fans complain that no one wants to fight him then when people call him out, they complain about that too?
I know right? Funny how there are excuses not to fight all the boxers that have actually called him out.
Lara says one minute he wants GGG, but the very next day said he is staying at 154.
That's so the gullible I'll believe he really wants GGG, knowing damn well he doesn't want to be a good boy.

All the Haymon fighters want far too much money to fight GGG.

It's good publicity to challenge GGG. It makes the boxer who called out seem totally fearless. Welterweight Bradley says he wants to fight him. Ward says he wants to fight him. Lara called him out. DeGale says he would love to fight him. GGG is probably the most called out boxer in boxing. What never seems to go with these call outs is a factual detailed legal offer from that boxer's promoter to GGG's promoter. Details like how much money the boxers will be paid and where and when the fight will take place. What weight will the fight be fought at and what network will the fight be seen on. Without a legal written offer calling a boxer out is just meaningless talk. Ward claims he has e mails proving GGG turned his offer down. That's great Ward. So where are these E mails. Nobody on this board has ever seen them or even know if they exist. I believe what I see and not what boxers say because they often lie their ass off. Please Ward show these emails and prove you ever made GGG a legit offer to fight to begin with. Why do these boxers only call out GGG????? Ward and DeGale could be calling each other out. Lara has other 154 pound top contenders and champions he could call out as well as the other 160 pound champions so why only call out GGG????? Meanwhile GGG fights more often than other champions and he fights the best guys who actually sign a real contract to fight. Nobody on here can say what the legit legal offer Ward or Lara made to GGG says because there never was any written offer.
