If...& that is a big if, Quillin was to beat Jacobs, do you think he has the power to hurt & beat GGG?....I mean anyone could be beatable, given the wrong night. Quillin does posses game changing power.
I'd like to know tour thoughts on this....& please post like adults, none of that kiddie crap...
that's pretty weak to be honest. i would think about pulling out if i were quillin.
He's pissed now that he found out it is in Zimbabwe Dollars
8,000,000.00 ZWD = 22,105.55 USD
What do you mean a 'big IF' Quillin beats Jacobs?
Surely that's a foregone conclusion. Jacobs has proven time and time again how mediocre he is
If he struggles with Jacob's then i'll lose hope on Quillin. He has looked decent in spurts, but nothing seems to shout out that he'll beat GGG. Power isn't enough to beat him
The Lee fight is on Showtime. Showtime bought it but i can see you got a conspiracy theory going already.
And there have been multiple articles of GGG saying no to 155.
I have no issue with those winers fighting eachother
there are multiple articles of ward turning down ggg at 164. so ward ducked ggg according to you right? or wait are we caught in another one of your contradictions?
what does this mean? he lost 7-8 rounds to ndam, 4-5 to rosado, and 7 to andy lee. he's not a good boxer. what tools does he have that would help him win aside from a ko out of nowhere which could conceivably happen in any fight.
He was the power and strenght to compete(physical attributes), but like I said he fights nervous and stiff..like he is to tense, he needs some fine tuning. Just because he has the tools doesnt make him a great fighter..If he doesnt know how to use his strenghts then it dont mean much. Thats why I said if it were to happen now..GGG would dominate.
I think he has the power, but he fights kind of stiff and tense. Its weired like he has the tools, to beat GGG, but he needs some fine tuning, he looks nervous and stiff when he fights, he likes to wait for that big shot to much instead of boxing. If it were to happen now, GGG would win, and in dominant fashion.

Well i read a direct quote from Team GGG that pretty much says they turned down fight and walked. Schaffer stalled cause that same quote says the next day. And i ll take the direct quote over you body language and voice expertise.
Im done with this anyway. It was fun to debate but its over now. Let see what happens after this weekend.
well your reading comprehension is pretty low so you should take that into account. are you actually saying ggg ducked quillin even though factually quillin turned down ggg twice? how does that even work? ggg tries to fight quillin look he's ducking quillin!

Jacobs is getting 12 Million and Quillin is getting 8 Million according to Rick Glaser

Not long before Shaeffer and Oscar broke up, there was talk about Golovkin vs Quillin. Golovkin called out Quillin directly after a couple of his fights (one of them was against Stevens. I remember because I was there). Shaeffer starting getting a lot of questions about it with the expectation that Quillin would duck GGG, and he seemed annoyed. Shaeffer told the press to for k2 to make him an offer. k2 then made an offer, which was approved by HBO to have Quillin as an opponent even though HBO was already not allowing Haymon fighters. So in this case HBO actually said ok. Shaeffer then stalled and said something about having a network purse bid when it was public knowledge the HBO and Golovkin had an exclusive contract together.
And oh yeah, Quillin has never sounded serious about wanting to fight Golovkin.

Another one. Pete has said he would love this fight but for some reason he has no desire?
GGG has fought no one good yet. Quillin, once again, would be the best by far on GGG resume.

You would see it that way.
Schaeffer knew Golovkin had an exclusive deal with HBO. In fact he used to sign his fighters to exclusive deals to HBO then Showtime, so he knows full well that Golovkin would legally be unable to fight on Showtime, thus he was killing the fight. Just like Haymon/GYM are doing with Stevenson/Kovalev now.
Sure sure. I read it and i understood it but once again its not GGG fault its theirs.
"We made a good offer to Richard Schaefer (CEO of Golden Boy Promotions), - says Oleg Herman (Manager of GGG). - But the next day he said that they want to arrange an open trade between the channels, the winner of which will receive the rights to broadcast the fight Golovkin - Quillin."
This option is not acceptable to the team of the Kazakh boxer who fights exclusively on HBO.
"The proposed option was not acceptable to us, - says Oleg Herman.
But somehow this is Quillin saying he never wanted the fight?
Im sorry i read the whole thing again and now i realize its GGG team that made excuses for the fight to not happen.
Im said already i lean towards GGG to win this fight but i would like to see it

Quillin has never wanted the fight. It's funny too, b/c Golovkin nearly signed with Schaeffer/GB in 2010, but Universum threatened a lawsuit.

Showtime lost the bid in the Korobov fight, and Quillin vacated his title.

"The proposed option was not acceptable to us, - says Oleg Herman. - Because the team is not going to turn away from our partners on HBO, on whose support Gennady can always count. Additionally, Peter Quillin has much lower popularity in the U.S. compared to Gennady, and can not be even compared. If Quillin didn't have the title and didn't mention loudly and constantly "Golovkin" and "Martinez" names in the press, we would most likely have heard little about him. Not to mention that Quillin fights on the undercard and has not headlined a single main fight night."

You rant on about GGG and yet the most idiotic statement is from Quillen about getting Mayweather-Pac money...if that is not just saying I don't want the fight then what is? Or does he really think they'd ever in a zillion years make anything even close to even $10 million each for a fight?
GGG can only fight who wants to fight in his division. And Canelo is the champ at 160. GGG should take a fight at 157 or above...if you say he should go to 155 then Ward should have went to 164 just the same I guess right?
I said that was dumb of Pete already and i said that whole 155 is the fault of GGG (for asking for the 164).
Did you even read what i wrote
Golovkin has fought no one good? Lemieux has proven to be just as much as Quillin, so is Quillin not good? Odd Quillin rejected the Lemieux fight after David beat Rosado.
Quillin's response to fighting Golovkin has been:
The money's not right
Showtime needs to be able to bid on the fight
Golovkin should move up and fight Ward
Showtime lost the bid in the Korobov fight, and Quillin vacated his title.
