following on from the heavyweight thread about this possibly being one of the weakest era's ever for the division.
I fully believe Anthony Joshua And joseph parker will clean up this division.
My prediction is:
When they meet, it will be for the heavyweight unification, not sure who will get there first, most probably AJ, AJ will have a record similar to wilder, all KO's, he will steamroll everyone.
It will be the biggest fight of the century (heavyweight wise/possibly boxing wise) Joshua having a height and massive reach advantage will drop parker several times in the first few rounds, Parker will be nearly done and about to be stopped when he catches Joshua coming in for the kill, chin up and will put AJ to sleep. become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
The first Kiwi heavyweight champ, doing what Tua tragically never could, picking up from Bob Fitzsimmons over 100 years later..
you heard it here first.
anyone doubt me? :boxing:
hes a young kid, as far as im concerned he passed the 'gut check'. dont write him off.
He's shown heart but he's also showing his level.
His potential is limited.
benns progressing well....
Yeah somehow I don't think getting dropped twice and going life and death with a journeyman in a fight he probably should have lost equates to "progressing well"
I thought it would be bigger, didnt think Wilder would make this far still with a belt and his undefeated record.
To be fair at the time AJ hadnt even fought Gary Cornish or Dillian Whyte and Parker hadnt even fought anyone inside the top 50 and was scheduled to fight Daniel Martz.
12-0 v a totally unknown 15-0 prospects meeting for the HW unification 3 years later is still pretty good going lol
totally unknown lmao!
he was being hyped years ago and thats how u probably came to this prediction, he was only unknown to casuals

Well yeah, it's a good prediction cant deny that.
TS was wrong, Wilder is going to save the HW division, but only when AJ has the balls to say his name.
Body bag in the resume!! BOOOOOOOOOOMBBBB SQUAAAAAAAAAAD!!
Well it's not quite an accurate prediction is it? Parker has far from cleared out the division and this fight isn't going to be as big as the last 2 genuine big hw clashes.

I thought thats what I just said? If one of them lose before this future undefeated showdown you are predicting than it won't be an undefeated showdown. So if either guy loses before that happens you would lose or I'm seriously misunderstanding something.
Sorry to be pedantic, but they could meet again, in the future, still both undefeated after tomorrow.
Before he put on a load of weight Parker had some of the fastest hands in the division and one of the best jab's, he should be coming in at 230-235 not the high 240's.
Whoa ! You also predicted the weight right, Parker is 236 this time.
:D

My dude mlac has been on this ****!!! Just a shame he missed the final part of the prophecy. When Parker's head lands in David Higgins lap and Eddie Hearn's turtleneck gets splattered with blood and oil after a couple rounds, the prophecy will come to an end :lol1:
