I assume the 386k AVG was around the main even start time since it's a 7 minute range
Was there HBO last week too?
Dunno what was on last week, but the Degale/Bute numbers were abysmal too.... don't think they've officially released it yet
With these sorts of ratings and the recent change in HBO administration, maybe it's time that Haymon/HBO start playing nice with each other? Maybe it's time for Haymon to leave SHO Boxing behind and focus on PBC.
We only see these types of numbers when HBO and Showtime go head-to-head and split the audience. Something else had to have been on for these numbers to be so ugly.
Yeah along with the Pac-12 Championship game there was also the ACC Championship game, Big 12 Championship game and even the Mountain West Championship. These were the late games
No way can that be right! They actually put in some advertising for this fight, had an All-Access, and it started at 9pm. That would be worse than DeGale/Bute.
Edit: I did wonder with the fight being less than 1 round, how/if that would impact the numbers.
Sure that hurts the number... but that'd mean so little people were watching leading up to the fight.
I don't think an argument can be made for it doing that bad because it was one round. If the number was higher sure.... but if this is true, moot point

Nothing official yet, but we'll see later if it's true
@R_Munny will post later, the 4 chunks I saw numbers for so far ranged from 217,000 to 274,000— Sports TV Ratings (@SportsTVRatings) December 8, 2015

idk what else was on at the time, but that's a very disappointing number.

25-seconds my dude. He would have endured a healthy beating in 25-seconds.
There was actually 1:38 left when the ref stopped it. Quillin was going to end up like roadkill.
He was looking like Khan in there, stumbling around and trying his hardest not to hit the mat.
How much time was left on the clock??

Not earlier than GGG-Canelo, hope Jacobs will fight Lee-Saunders winner next!
Canelo vs. GGG
Jacobs vs. Lee/Saunders!
think I'd prefer to first see Canelo vs Jacobs with the winner taking on GGG.
A few things.
1. The referee shouldn't have jumped in if he wasn't going to stop it right then and there.
2. Quillin should have taken a knee.
3. Jacobs VS GGG would be a helluva fight between the top 2 Middleweights in the world. I hope it happens. :boxing:
