Yeah, he never chases it, He's extremely safety first for a guy of such power. A guy like Floyd you can understand when he's not a big puncher.
I honestly just think he's fought the same way for so long in a dominating way that he's become absolutely stuck in that style which is why he couldn't adjust. He looked very lost last night. That style be perfected and dominated with come back to bite him last night. He doesn't know anything else now.
I just can't see how at 39 he's going to suddenly develop another way to adjust to fighters. I'd take Fury again to outbox him, it's a stylistic nightmare for Wlad. I really give Wlad a punchers chance, it would be foolish not to. Sounds very weird saying Wlad has a punchers chance in a fight but that's what it is.
He's just ran into a guy like Fury, who is a nightmare opponent for him and where his flaws or short comings play right into Fury's strengths as a boxer. It is what it is. Some people just have your number.
Pretty much.
Wlad would have to revert back to his 20 something self, the guy who got KOd but came looking to throw lots of punches, big, hard shots. Then again, that leaves him open for the KO and he is absolutely mortified of that. He has to let that fear go.
Wlad has a puncher's chance in a rematch but for over a decade, Wlad has not acted like a puncher. If the opportunity is there, he can take but but he never chases a KO. It's not in his DNA. That's sad because Wlad can take that title back if he does so.

If the rematch is gonna happen, I wonder how this place will look if Wlad managed to KO him lol
The thing is, this is definitely possible.
In the 9th round when Klitschko landed that right hand, I was a little nervous for Fury, until he came back with his own solid shots.
12th round, Klitschko looked gassed but started picking up the pace and that's when I thought he did a good job (although Fury came back hard as well).
Klitschko has some serious power, so there's always that chance he might catch Fury at some point. If they did a rematch, I really wouldn't be surprised if Klitschko won by KO/TKO. Would also be great for setting up a huge third fight.
Maybe then, Wilder will stop being a coward and fight someone decent for once, thinking he can beat Wlad or Fury.

I would give Wlad a good chance of KOing Fury in a rematch. The 3rd part would be absolutely massive. Wembley Stadium. 80000/ One of the biggest fights in a long time.
Looks like wlad was enjoying that beer lol. Props to fury, it wasn't pretty but it was effective. I appreciate his humility, too. I'd like to see a rematch. I think wlad knows the only way to beat him is to fight like he did in the 12. I think it would be a great fight.
Nice one, still think kilts has something wrong last night. Maybe it's because he wasn't the bigger man in the ring physically but he was extra slow for whatever reason.

Well Its definitely possible, he wasted to much time posturing up doing nothing.
The fight needs to be pressed which Wladimir showed in the championship rounds he can clearly do that to Fury but does he have the tank to keep it up through 12 at his age now.
19 defences of the lineal title... Hell even a quarter of that would be something you, your kids, your grandkids, your great grandchildren can boast about for the rest of their lives.
Tyson and Peter Fury giving lots of respect to Vladimir in the official post fight presser.
He deserves it, he's been a great, dominating champion. He just came up against the better man last night.
