Just scrolling through Facebook and found a story from a Ukrainian news source. Wlad says Fury deserved to win as he was faster and more accurate.
Apparently he has said to German media that he is "definitely counting on a rematch"
....
Wrong move if this turns out to be true, IMO.

I see your point. I guess based off of his long reign he deserves the shot for revenge if he truly wants it.
That being said NOTHING he did in the ring tonight earned him the right to a rematch.
I just think both guys should fight other opponents and see if they then want a rematch then, instead of fighting each other again next.
I don't think Wlad is interested in anything else;he deserves the right to go out fighting in the rematch.
I would be down for a rematch,, though I don't think we would see much difference in the result. Might be even tougher task the 2nd time around as fury will be beaming with confidence and Wlad will have some self doubt

little clip of a young and explosive wlad.
what's interesting about this clip is that steward are commentating on wladimirs fight while he was lennox lewis trainer.
Steward say wlads right hand is the best his ever seen in the history.
Remember steward has trained, lewis, holyfield, de la hoya, taylor, hearns and so many more.
the irony is that steward also said that tyson fury would be the next champion
Easy to make rash decisions after losing all your titles but I think he must make changes for the rematch. I thought it could have been a draw tonight but the judges went for Fury, was not a clear margin of victory for me, but they saw it for him. Wlad can comeback but I do fear age is catching him up. No shame in that, virtually no hw's of the past were prime at 40. Fury for me is not a great fighter, awkward big and energetic, yes, but I don't see him having a career like WK.
I don't know. It was a crappy fight & I watched it in German so I couldn't get influenced by the commentary. I gave Wlad 3 rounds...
for all the people saying wlad would have won if he let his hands go....first of all fury moves so its hard to hit a moving target unlike all of wlad's stationary targets and second lamon brewster. wlad doesn't have the stamina to go all out because if he does and he doens't get the ko he will be ko'd. that's why he has fought scared his entire career and never went for it. his only chance to beat fury is in the first 3-4 rounds but fury is much smarter than him and will let him blow his load and ko him when he turns blue. the much better boxer won as it should be.
I look forward to your posts. My activity level here has been down the last year or so but after this win I will get great pleasure in reading all the excuses from the butthurt nuthuggers. He was old, Fury fluked out, yadda yadda yadda. Even if it is only a one fight win streak & Fury loses the belt on his first defence I will enjoy every minute of this while it lasts!!!!
If klitschko decides for a rematch I hope he hires a strenght and conditioning coach ala gavin mcmillian, change to a real trainer, no disrepect to banks but he's more of a friend then a trainer to wlad.
Wlad is using the same training program for 11 years, lots of endurance training and stretching but no xplosive training, training is always evolving.
Wlad is a beast but if he hired memo heredia, could he turn back the clock for a few fights?
Wlad pre stewart did more explosive training but after his losses they said he had bad stamina and wlad changed training programt that focused on endurance and stamina.
He should also study kovalevs jab to the body and straight right ti the body, would help him alot againt a moving target with good head movement instead only head hunt
Explosive training. Give me a break. You gotta to have that dog in you first and foremost before you can be an explosive anything. You have to be able to be able to taste some leather at times and be able to give some as well. The guy fights scared and is terrified of any form of contact. Am surprised none of the heavyweight haven been able to meet him with an uppercut when he's coming in for that clinch 'cos his rhythm is so predictable. Jab, jab , feint, clinch. Jab, jab, right hand clinch. Jab, jab, hook, clinch.
Klistchko is what he is, a new trainer can't do much for him. Emmanuel basically molded him into this version because his chin was glassy in the past and his gas tank was totally unreliable. And I laughed when some people suggest Wlad would have been too much for Mike Tyson or Ali for that matter even with his height and all. The slightest form of contact bothers this guy. I don't know which other heavyweight champion was worse than this guy.

Whilst he openly admits that he was never a natural fighter, I'd hope that the resolve that he showed in clawing his way back from his previous losses and fighting on when even his own brother had told him that maybe it was time to call it a day, coupled with the experience that he's gained since then has equipped him with the mentally to want to gain the titles back. If he tries and falls short, then at least he knows for sure. Even I don't want to see him just pack his bag and leave the sport because he's been beaten by a man his own size. He'd gain my respect for one if got back in there.
How??? what rounds did you give him??sad thing is the official score cards were actually close, meaning all Wlad had to do is swing and he would have won
I gave him the 12th and the 8th
I only gave Wlad 2 rounds. Not interested.

Even if Wlad was to win a rematch, would that really change much? His run has still been ended and the main thing he had to keep going to boost his legacy was the premise of breaking Louis' record. Beating Fury in a rematch won't change much, and more importantly there is a huge chance of him losing, probably even worse this time round.
I'm not saying I think he should. Because I definitely think he'll lose again.
But if he wants one, he should get it. He's earned that.

He didn't lose badly enough to NOT deserve a rematch.
