What happened mate? I thought Fury had no chance? Like i said, stick to football next time and leave the boxing to the experts.
Cool mate, an expert for calling one fight :lol1:
Fair play on this one though, Wlad did look poor without his size advantage.
He looked a bit gun-shy, but otherwise normal.
He just fought someone bigger than him who wasn't static. Wlad has always been a product of size, he just got beat by a very average opponent.

Wladimir's issue last night was more to do with not wanting to commit to attacking Fury because of what seemed like tentativeness. He seemed way too aware that Fury could have countered him with something.
Fury basically was too unpredictable for Wlad. If Fury did not move and did not look so awkward at times, I guarantee you, 100%, that Wlad would have let his hands go a lot more.
Wlad only commits when it is safe and he is set, Fury never really showed him that security. It is more to do with that than it is Wlad being shot in my opinion.
I wouldn't say he is shot, maybe he is a little past prime but not by much. I think fury just showed what it takes to beat him. Wlad is great at ONE OR TWO things in there. If you can take those away from him he hasn't got much after that.
the tools that Wlad bring to work has ALWAYS worked....so when Fury disarmed him of a few of those tools, Wlad seemed lost and confused....Fury's movement, feints and awkwardness was the key....Wlad was Wlad....Fury deserves big time props for the way he shut Wlad down....I didn't see that coming...I'm still a little shocked!!
Pretty sure he cut the ring up with chambers pretty well...
A GIF of Fury taking the mick out of Wlad with his hands behind his back dodging jabs is going in my sig until the end of time.
He out talked him in the press conferences, out hustled him on the pre fight mind games and outboxed him in the ring.
Tyson 'Gypsy King' Fury.
Heavyweight Champion of the World.
I thought that was brilliant. I just wished he'd have tried to Roy Jones him, just to hear HBO's reaction.

I would hace thought you Mayweather fans would have a better understanding of how a ring general can reduce his opponents output. Jennings laid the blue print, Fury followed it through
Wlad wasnt just 'not letting his hands go'. He couldnt. Fury movement (head and foot) and feints never allowed Klitschko to get into his rhythm. Klitschko wants his opponent to be right infront of him where he can prod them to death with his jab and occassionally (when hes feeling brave) throw a right hand or left hook. Fury was never there fkr that to happen. Fury smothered whenever he was cornered too, which took away WKs last hope of a static fight.
Fury might be completely uncoordinated with terrible balance, but the guy has a very good boxing brain, and it nullifyed the one dimensional Klitschko.
Is Klitschko old? Of course. But he isnt shot. Before the fight he was top 3 p4p ffs. Hes had some of his best wins in the past year or so.
Well I see people are gonna act like they didn't see his last fight, I wanted Fury to win as much as the next guy but I'm not gonna pretend Wlad wasn't done.
Klitschko fought like he always does.
He just wasn't in with some Fat American Bum or some Big Stiff European Idiot.
He was in with a bigger, slicker more mobile man who took the absolute piss out of him!
Don't be bitter Larry.Bitter??? i was laughing my ass off
wtf.....wlad has always fought like that. always. I'll admit in his younger days he was more exciting and threw more. but in his younger days he was sparked out so he reverted his style more into wrestling. but the wlad that we just saw had been wlad for the last 7 years LOL shot? no clue what u guys are seeing.

People listen too much to Kellerman and co, they were saying Klitschko didn't throw the right hand because he couldn't pull the trigger.
Wlad never throws his right hand until he's landing consistently with the jab and is comfortable, Fury didn't allow him either. These commentators should know the fighter they are talking about a little better, especially one that has been the HW champ for so long.
The contempt the HBO muppets had for Vlad was obvious, they were constantly tried to down play his achievements, and just being trite in general.
