When Lomachenko faught Salido, Salido gave up the belt on the scale and outweighed Loma by 15+ pounds on fight night....
It would be utterly unethical, but I think it is possible ????
With no belt on the line, Ward could show up at 170 fight night and GGG would likely fight anyway.... As long as Ward is reasonably close to official weight goals leading up to fight night as to not draw excessive scrutiny.... It could happen unless strict attention was being paid.
Ward would have to pay a penalty for sure.... But the Show must go on, GGG would dance. It would be a terrific fight regards....
Thoughts ?
Or he can wait until Golovkin figures out his mandatory situation and GGG will probably fight him at 168. No one is forcing Ward to 175 that's his own choice. He sure feels self entitled by the way he talks though, as if he wasn't MIA for a few years and Golovkin HAD to accept a fight now or else it's no deal, like Golovkin isn't currently trying to unify and in a mandatory position that they've been working on getting for a long time. The world doesn't stop for Andre Ward.
Lol saw your sig 3 times in a row
If (???) Kovalev takes out Ward ( Possibly twice, if the first fight is entertaining) Ward would likely either retire or consider going back down to 168....
In a quest for a semblance of redemption, he might yeald to most GGG'S terms at 168 after GGG unifies all Middleweight belts....
Unlikely, yes... But there would still be demand for GGG vs Ward, even if Ward was beaten by Sergey Kovalev....
its ward so no it won't be entertaining. he will even lose in boring fashion
You sure about that ?

My thoughts are GGG would beat Ward no matter what Ward weighed. GGG is a two handed bomber. Ward doesn't hit all that hard with his left and his right has very little power. Ward is a converted southpaw. GGG is a much harder puncher than Ward even though he is smaller. GGG has a great jab so Ward won't outdo him at long range either. Ward doesn't hit hard enough to hurt the rock jawed GGG but GGG can and will KO Ward if they ever fight. This fight will never actually happen. Ward is a diva who wants everything in his favor. Team GGG won't put up with that. The two sides will never agree on the terms of a fight.
