Floyd's best defense is holding. If he did that in an MMA cage, he would be on his back, tapping out. Floyd is not an MMA fighter, nor do I think he could ever be. Holding is just one of the things he does, but not his main defensive strength... It's his elusiveness and footwork that allows him to escape tight situations. That will translate well in MMA. You can't take down what you can't reach, plus you'll eat plenty of counters trying, just like Rousey did.

I've always said that top boxers will always have success in MMA when given a chance. Holly Holm is an example of a good boxer who's allowed to grab and kick. :You_Rock_

None of that matters, this isn't about Mma v boxing it's about men v women. Let me tell u a story, when I was 16 I met a girl who was a top ten ranked under 18 tennis player in Australia. She trained every day and had been playing since she was 4. As I wanted to shag her I agreed to a tennis match and was able to beat her 6-4 7-6. It was the 3rd time id played tennis in my life.
