Let's get this fight going hopefully Bob makes this fight next and not some bull**** like last night

Lomachenko would box Gamboa's ears off.
Gamboa could've and should've been a top p4p guy. He had to have the worst and management and promotional deal. He had serious talent and athletic ability.
yeah but Gamboa got beat by TC and has barely fought since. Has he had one fight?
Look, on paper, Gamboa v Loma is a terrific fight but I just think Loma v Walters/Donaire/LSC makes more sense and are better fights or Loma v Rigo.
Plus, Loma is currently a division below.
Gamboa have been inactive but you want Loma vs Rigo who's been inactive first and is a division below?
Loma wants nothing with Walter for now, HBO don't do business with haymond, and Donaire... Donaire?
Gamboa have no problem working with Top Rank, HBO like Gamboa, The are about the same size, why not?
Gamboa have a fight coming and after that there is no problem for Loma to fight him sometime next year. Gamboa gave HBO and Top Rank Crawford a nice win on his record by basically fighting a way bigger man, is time for Top Rank and HBO to return thatfavor and make a more equal fight now, especially for to Loma how is fighting in an undercard in front of an empty area, Gamboa will help to fix that.
Yes because Loma earn his title shots?
BTW is the WBO (topRank) belt that Salido abandon, the same Salido who Gamboa convincingly beat.

I'm a Gamboa fan but honestly, he has to earn his way to a title shot.

Lol a punchers chance? Cause yuri has no skills right
Sure he has some skills. But not as much as Loma by far. He better use his punchers chance because no way in hell will he out think out move out point out speed or plain out out box Loma. He may not even out power punch him for that matter. Punchers chance
Let's do it.
I'll still roll with Gamboa.
I'm aware that he is past his best, out of his proper weight class, highly inactive, doesn't have a proper trainer and will be rusty. With all that said, Gamboa was THAT good...if he can show up at 85% of what he was then he beats anyone at 126-130.
great fight. make it happen. gamboa was scary talented in his prime. it's a shame that he never got to really display his talent as a pro and at his best weight.
f#ck 50 cent, btw.
That was Crawford, right? I think his biggest problem here forward will be mental. Even if his body is still prime, his mind might be broken from what happened in that fight. Confidence is everything in this sport.
didn't he have a fight after crawford?
Wow you fickle morons...>99% of you are complete morons...Gamboa will **** Loma up...Mismatch...Gamboa is faster at everything...Loma will lose the tools that wins him fights...I can't wait to see Loma try and slide around Gamboa just to find he's done it first and is hitting him with 3-4 punches... Seriously you guys lack IQ points.
poor gary. God bless his heart but speed amounts to nothing without power. ...and the dude throws at one speed. so predictable and easy to counter. dont act like loma didnt any extraordinary beating gary russell lol.
loma aint knocking gamboa out lol. That's crazy talk. Hell I don't know if he truly has an edge in the skills department. But I look at it like this: if they only way to beat gamboa is to drag him into a brawl and catch him, then I favor gamboa in the hypothetical. He don't hit half as hard as crawford and he damn sure aint as quick in hands and feet. I just cant imagine loma hitting gamboa with pitty patty punches all night with gomboa speed and temperment.
Remember when Gary Russell Jr was going to have too much speed for Lomachenko?

Though you're giving Gamboa too much credit against Crawford, the Salido connection is very real. If Gamboa has it together, this is 50/50. People have already forgotten that Gamboa was even more hyped and feared than Loma is.
That said, I predict Gamboa will have mental cobwebs. Flattened? Pfft.
Definitely the inactivity will hurt Gamboa and he might be damaged goods after Crawford but Gamboa showed he has tons of heart, he was eating bombs from Crawford and was still getting up. I remember Gamboa was touted highly like Lomochenko is now and then he got KO'ed so that why people should pump the brakes on Lomochenko.
Lomochenko is a good fighter but he hasn't been tested. Beating the TBA King Gary Russell is a good win but by no means it makes you good enough to beat a fighter like Gamboa who punches hard and is quick. Sucks that Gamboa and Rigo were a waste of talent due to inactivity with promotional issues and didn't fight the fighters that everybody were craving for.

Crawford fight was in June last year.
He had a comeback fight vs Joel Montes de Oca in Mexico last November.
Won by 6th round stoppage and been on the milk carton ever since.
You got guys like Mikey Garcia and Andrade and Ward who can get fights but choose inactivity and then guys like Rigo and Gamboa who probably want to fight but their handlers just keep f*cking around.
Rigo and Gamboa should be the ones in court trying to get away lol
he was in a fight of the year candidate against Terance Crawford a guy who weigh as a junior middleweight and will be one of the best fighters in Boxing. The Smaller Gamboa held his own and even buzzed Crawford and won the first 4 rounds until he got to brave for his own good.
Gamboa outclassed a prime Salido and beat him easily. The same Salido that after the Gamboa lost beat Juanma Lopez and went on to be the 126 bogeyman.
Yeah but pitty pat puncher Lomochenko will flattened him.......get out of here with the nonsense this is a 50/50 fight.
I don't think it's likely but not impossible. Gamboa gets really ragged when hurt or gassed. He's mostly looked like sh1t since moving up from fw, except for the 4 rounds. That loss was rough. And even at fw he was getting dropped a lot by low caliber comp.
