I think this is a pickem fight right now, honestly, I consider Brook the best welter if Maidana doesn't come back, but Bradley looks like a new dangerous fighter under the jedi master of boxing Teddy Atlas.
Thoughts?
lol imagine what Kell would've done to Rios, it would've been a massacre. Rios lucky that fight didn't happen.
I think Kell decisions Bradley in a very close fight.
bradley would probably get himself killed in the ring or serious, serious brain damage against brook, if... he did another provodnikov. your body can only take so much.
Bradley's a true warrior, but Brooks is hands down probably the best young welterweight out there. Clear, unanimous decision for brooks. I see him hurting Bradley at times and out muscling Bradley throughout...
khan vs bradley would be a better fight than against brook, both arent real 147 pound fighters.

in the words of a man who fought infront of 80,000 people, brook is too big, too strong.... not only that younger and fresher.

I could see this happening. It would be a great fight between the two top welters.

whats that supposed to prove or disprove, if i offered pac 5 dollars to fight me would he take it? look at what degale took home recently vs bute, both champions, he got 2 million dollars, 500k is nothing and brook is also a champion same as bradley so like i said your post has no point apart from top rank not wanting the fight and i say that because you dont offer stupid unrealistic money to people.
I'd fight Pac for 500k. I would jump on him early and touch him up the whole first round, then jump on my bicycle the rest of the fight, and if he starts to catch me on the face and I can't catch his straight left, I'll take a knee. Then I would make a gif of my best moment in the first round and wear it as my sig on NSB.

Yeah..........don't think so.

I think Bradley forces a higher pace against Brook than Brook is comfortable with. Unlike Porter, Bradley is a very comfortable boxer who can use his jab intelligently, and he won't be running straight in wind-milling and giving Brook an easy target. Brook's size and strength is certainly a factor, but by itself it's not enough against Bradley.
For Brook to win I think he will have to show a much better ability to pot-shot and score by leading from the outside than he has done to date. Only if he forces Bradley to be reckless can he win. And if he forces Bradley to be reckless he will have to win a dogfight against a much craftier dog than the one he faced in Shawn Porter.
Brook's good and of course he can win, but Bradley has a lot of different angles and is a difficult fighter to shut down with just one thing. I honestly think Brook would have to show something new to get a win over him.
Bradley is a fine boxer no doubt about it, but i feel that the size and strength difference will be too much for him to handle. I can't see Bradley outboxing him on the outside, and i can't see him being able to rough Kell up.
However, i do feel that Bradley has more heart than most other boxers in the game, with an iron will to win. I'm not convinced about Kell's heart and imho it could be a big factor if the fight goes into deep waters.
Resume isn't everything. Use your eyes.

Article is from 2012. It's almost 2016, kid.
Interesting that Arum would offer Brook the fight back then.
But just a couple of weeks ago he said that Bradley wouldn't be fighting Brook because "Nobody knows who Brook is!"
So people knew Brook back in 2012 but now he's a champion who beat Porter in the USA and nobody knows him? Does that make sense to you?
Bob doesn't want to do the fight now because he'd have to give up more money that won't be going in-house. And, as a champion, Brook doesn't have to sign future options to Top Rank.
Bob Arum said no to the fight.
even bob knows thats too hard of a fight, he should fight brandon "the killer" rios again or some other weak ass opponent who shouldnt be fighting at his weight class (even though bradley is a fake 147 champion), even if he fights a shot pac again he will probably lose.
id hardly say he would walk through him, but thurman has alot of flaws, my post was aimed at brook/bradley though as it was a rumored fight at the time.

Never. Bradley would walk through Thurman like you and I walk through a doorway.

Bradley went to war by choice. Because he is a warrior.
True, he is a warrior but he didn't train properly for that fight at all. After the Pac decision, people were sending him death threats and he got really depressed, ballooned all the way up to 190 and had to cut down almost 25 pounds in the final week and a half just to make weight. On top of that, he underestimated Ruslan and spent the entire camp trying to lose weight.
He didn't have the stamina in that fight because of how he prepared for the fight. If he were to rematch Ruslan, he would put on a boxing clinic and win every round.
Bradley went life and death with Ruslan. That's all you need to know. Bradley has better resume and way more accomplished, but Brook takes this one rather easily.

Then he outboxed HOF ATG JMM in his very next fight. :lol1:
Brook already turned Bradley down because he knew he'd get stomped out.
