ANTHONY JOSHUA says advice from heavyweight legend Lennox Lewis will help his bid for revenge against arch rival Dillian Whyte.
Joshua was beaten by Whyte when they met as amateurs back in 2009 and the south Londoner remains the only man in Britain to have beaten the 2012 Olympic gold medalist.
The pair are set to clash again at the 02 Arena on December 12 with the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles on the line, with Whyte, who has 16 wins from 16 as a pro, claiming he has the upper hand.

Which great black British heavyweights has there been, apart from Lewis?
Haye wasn't great, but he was talented. Bruno? Lol? .....who else...Herbie Hide? Danny Williams? lol..im struggling..
Colour has nothing to do with it. Some of the best chins in british boxing were on white guys like Froch and Calzaghe and some of guys with the worst biscuit chins were black.
Joshua will prove to have a biscuit chin once he steps in with a good fighter, Whyte might not be the guy to show it though.

Well a simple reason why I know this......price is a English white heavyweight...historically it's not been kind to them....and Joshua is better in every department ....your find out soon enough

How do you know the same won't happen to Joshua? He might not have a great chin or stamina either? there's no evidence to suggest he does or doesn't yet.
Price was 15-0 and blasted through everyone until he ran into an actual decent fighter and it was game over.
Just go look back through this forum from around 2012 before he fought Thompson, all the great things being said about Joshua now were being said about Price back then.

It'll be interesting to see how AJ fights on the inside and if he can assert the jab early.
It may not matter, though. Whyte is there to be hit. Early KO for me.
It worked out well for David Price when he was being advised by Lennox...
Well, if Price had listened to Lennox and boxed behind the jab he'd probably have KO'd TT.
Price deserved the defeat; he had dispensed with the advice of his corner.
Ha ha josh don't need lennox advice to beat stepping stone Whyte.
Whyte will come out all bravado, AJ will counter and ko WHyte is the likely scenario. Not that AJ hits the hardest in the world, it just they open up on AJ and take punches they don't see.
I would say he's definitely up there with the very hardest punchers in the world.
Not Klitschko power yet, but Wlad also developed his crazy power later, like 29-30 years old, maybe even later than that. The muscle fibers in both bodies are pretty similar.
Definitely hits with more force than Wilder, even now. Don't see anyone else in the division who's really a super human puncher.
But Whyte will definitely show how much power Joshua has. Whyte has a good chin. Never been dropped amateur or pro and has the body frame to take a good shot. Chisora esque.
However, I'm not sure how well Joshua fights on the inside yet. Maybe Whyte can show that.
Well regards to David price and being guided by Lewis ...u can't put muscle on your chin and no matter how much guidance you can give that won't change the fact....u did notice that Lennox never hung around so I guess that tells you something ....Anthony johua is a completely different ball game than David price......he will take over the division in a years time

Your brothers and sisters weren't 18stone of pure strength that can counter punch with speed. This ain't the amateurs. Joshua is much stronger now and much better technically. Whyte doesn't seem to have made the same gains - possibly looks a little worse if anything.
