I feel bad for him - he's clearly got a team around him who manipulate him and basically use him. They don't care for him at all.
I think we can all agree that Manny has the worst deal in boxing, Bob Arum is clearly taking him for a ride just like Don King did to Iron Mike.
The problem is Manny is not smart enough to realise it.
I hope he gets away from that crew of leeches. :(
Wow.
Since the two have fought, people are now arguing over who will go broke first, Manny or Floyd. lol
It's the pacfans who brought Floyd into this thread, never once mentioned in opening post.
It's always been this way, using his name to stay relevant
Who cares if Manny ends up broke? He's a grown man that can think for himself. As fans our level of involvement in his life really ends when he steps outside of the ring. We can speculate endlessly about what's going in this guy's life but it's his life for better or worse, and even if he does lose it all how many people can say they've lived a life like him?
why would i feel bad for a multimillionaire?? if he ends up broke is his own damn fault, he has plenty of money right now
Same but it sort of depends on the circumstances if he's been dealt a harsh hand to become broke there are different levels of riches and I'll be honest I don't think Manny or Floyd have any reason to be going broke any time in their life.
GOD-FR33 used to post with annoyingly large crayon style font, obvious what we're dealing with here. :lol1:
He should be banned, I'm going to block him now
pacquiao has connections with criminally rich politicians so it's doubtful.
and who's to say floyd even does half the sh*t he does on TV? remember, the guy was selling an image.
that's true. boxers aren't your typical white collar millionaires though so i can understand where the sympathy comes from.
Floyd, by his own admission, walked away from the sport in September. What has he done since? Travel the world, make a few paid club appearances, hang out at his boxing gym, and travel out to some of the different shows that his Mayweather Promotions fighters have competed on.
He bought at least one car, likely gambled on some football/basketball games, among other things, but Floyd's been largely chilling.
Out of curiosity what happened to that 75 million dollar tax bill?
But I doubt he'd be broke dude. He's like a god in his country people with nothing would find something and give it to him if he asked.
If that happened id imagine he'd be like mike Tyson is but only in his country. Ya know he doesn't have 300 million anymore can't act can't sing but he's big mike and people just wanna be around him and they know that people are always happy to see him so he'll always have a job.
^^^ BIR is still chasing him down; Pacquiao tried to get the bill shifted and cancelled, but came up short. From the looks of it, Pacquiao may end up using his Senate party move to try and leverage whatever party is in power to wipe away his bill "for bringing great pride and acclaim to the PI" or some other silly reason.
Mike Tyson, from the looks of things, is living hand-to-mouth; Celeb Net Worth puts Mike Tyson's worth at $1m.
Pacquiao being okay with going from having $200m in net assets down to $1m? Not so sure
Look I understand Floyd has a lot of cash. So much it would be hard to go broke. I'm just tired of these threads from both of these fanboy camps where their fans are hoping the other guy goes broke.
I was just responding to what the ts was saying and I just respondef that if you think manny will go broke there is a chance Floyd will go broke too.
For the record I dont stand on either side of the fanboy camps because I call it like it is and I hope both will live a rich long life because they entertained me and gave me some good fights.
Fair enough.
I guess, from what information that's been able to make it into the general ether, I don't think it's fair to put Mayweather into the same basket as Pacquiao.
Pacquiao made significantly less money over his career, was paying out excessive amounts of his purse to his handlers over his entire career, has bequeath a ridiculous amount of money to his church, has self-financed several electoral campaigns for he and his wife, apparently has a massive tax bill still hanging over his head, travelled to the biggest fight of his career with 300 people rolling with him (Pacquiao financed) throughout his entire camp, and is on the verge of financing his own national campaign.
Take the fan hat off and, unless the whole tax bill simply disappears by decree, I don't see why folks think Pacquiao would be just fine, even in the PI.
You obviously haven't been on here long enough to know about the Floyd fanboys who know how to put **** like that on your profile. I never tried to have it removed. I don't care honestly. Everyone on here knows that I am a Manny Pacquiao fan. Manny is smarter than these idiots think. Did you not watch May 2nd? He was smart enough to bust Floyd in the mouth round after round after round. Like I said, if anyone goes broke, it'll be Floyd because he is illiterate, not Manny. Do your research before spewing out hater BS.
LOL, ANYONE THAT SCREWS A HOOKER WITHOUT A RUBBER IS NOT A SMART MAN...AND GETS HER PREGNANT Oscar left arum and made more money, Floyd left Arum and made more money and got to make the fights he wanted, Cotto left and got the Floyd fight....Manny stayed and continued to get robbbed....Manny tried to sell "salt water cured his severely torn rotator cuff" MANNY IS NOT SMART :twak:
pacquiao has connections with criminally rich politicians so it's doubtful.

It is really sad honestly..he even brought in a company to adit Arum AND THEY TOLD HIM ARUM WAS ROBBING HIM....but Arum got him to fire them and they ended up suing Manny
Very true Larry, he's definitely the dumbest fighter of all time
Manny will probably never end up broke. His name alone is worth money. But I don't understand why he keeps resigning with Arum. And giving him 27% when he can promote or hire someone to do it for less.
Always funny to see a broke guy hoping a multi millionaire icon like Manny goes broke. U probably driving a piece of sh*t car while hes riding in bullet proof hummers and has million dollars houses and cars.
Manny is and will always be richer than u. Same goes for the Floyd haters.Floyd is and will always be richer than u. So whos laughing?
Nah, don't feel bad for him. Arum is pretty much his acting agent. Without Bob, Pacquiao wouldn't be a wordlwide icon known today. Plus he's living in the Philippines with millions of dollars, I heard $100 over there can pretty much pay rent, food and school for your kids  He's fine financially, plus he's into politics which ensures he wont ever get broke tbh
U should travel the world abit cause u sound ignorant. U probably never left the hood so im not very surprised. Get out and see the world if u can afford.u will see ur hood is not the center of the world...
I wouldn't say it's so much his intelligence as the people he has around him, Pacquiao is loyal to a fault. Plus I'm sure what he makes goes a long way in the Philippines but if he was being taken cared of he could have made much more throughout his career.
