Best fight for both of them at this moment in time, meaning it won't happen. Khan will end up fighting another uninspiring opponent when the pac fight fails to come off.
Garcia needs a title and a good win and Khan needs revenge a big win a welterweight.
The best version of Khan I'd fancy to win this but I don't think his heart in the sport anymore after his antics this year and going life and death with Algeri. I'd pick Garcia by KO again.
Interesting. Garcia seems to have slowed quite a bit but Kahn is looking chinnier than ever and fear of the KO has affected his style in a bad way. I think Garcia KO's him again. And I say that as someone who heavily favored Kahn in the first one.
I hope it's true but I doubt it. Khan doesn't fight dangerous boxers not named Mayweather or Pacquiao since Garcia knocked him out and he hired Hunter and Haymon. That was well over 3 years ago.
:lol1: war Danny! Khan will be knocked back into his senses from one of the those "No look, left hooks" Garcia loves to throw. Hope it gets made, Khan needs to have his mouth shut.
Didn't Khan announce the Algieri fight on youtube/facebook then claim he wasn't fighting Algieri, then he ended up fighting Algieri?
He also lied about sparring Andre Ward.
Khan would probably quit boxing if he got stopped by Danny again
This is why it needs to happen. Kahn wants to be considered a top notch fighter, deserving of a megafight.
But he's yet to avenge any of his loses.
And Garcia hasn't put up a good performance in forever, and a lot of fans, (myself included) don't think his best wins still should hold weight. He needs to prove to people like me those weren't fluke wins.
This rematch makes too much sense.
If the fight happens and Khan survives the 2-3 knock downs or so that he will suffer, he still loses a decision. His punches are fast and can bruise up Garcia, but not hurt him. DSG knows this and he will go in there to seek and destroy Khan while taking his weak shoesine punches that even Algieri walked through without suffering a KD, and he was knocked down 8 times in his prior 2 fights. Khan's days at 147 top 10 are numbered. Soon as DSG, Thurman, Porter, Brook, or Pacquiao touch that chin up he's going to crumble down like we are so used to seeing from him by now.
