I give Gabe credit -when Golovkin offered to fight him at 158lbs he told his promoter to make it for the full 160lbs.
I doubt Canelo will give him the same courtesy since he's not a real MW yet.
It'll probably be at a CW like this match-up is.

Clottey should easily win. He is a very good boxer.
Clottey has a way of letting fights slip
I think I'll be entertained all night. I hope Rosado wins though - he needs a win bad and he's always in more eventful fights
Rosado matched up with ANYONE is a guaranteed fun fight. All matchups involving Rosado in Jr MW or MW would be fun
This card is sick.
HBO (Dec. 19)
Bryant Jennings (19-1, 10ko) vs Luis Ortiz (23-0, 20ko),
Nicholas Walters (26-0, 21ko), vs Jason Sosa (18-1-3, 14ko)
Yunieski Gonzalez (16-1) vs Vyacheslav Shabranskyy(16-0, 14ko)
Joshua Clottey (39-4, 22ko) vs Gabriel Rosado (21-9, 13ko),
This seems too much for a BAD card. Great card, but I can't remember a 4-fight card this respectable in recent memory. The worse match-up is Walters, but if Sosa has some boxing ability, maybe his power will be valuable.
WOW, best Boxing After Dark card in a long time.
for sure glad see the next few hbo cards are good they started going towards the overmatched side of things
Shame it's at the Turning Stone, which seems to be in the middle of nowhere.
Clottey took Kirkland's spot, hopefully he makes it count.
agreed if he has a good performance he can probably get himself a fight with a cotto canelo or a trout or lara type fighter
jennings ortiz the heavyweight clash turning into a good card for hardcore fans
