Hindsight:Why do people believe Pac of 6 yrs ago would beat TBE?

Mayweather was stronger, faster and was still the same smart and calculated fighter.Sure, Pacquiao had his aggressiveness going on for him, but his skills if anything was a couple of notches lower than it is now. He still couldn't cut off the ring and his reach would still spell doom against arguably the best defensive fighter in boxing. Do boxing fans really believe that Pacquiao's aggression and relentless pressure would be enough to take down a guy who hasn't even been knocked down in his career?
