Probably the best Golovkin performance I've ever seen to date just because I finally saw something really interesting in his technical ability. He was able to show an accurate, well-placed stunning jab that is rare in boxing. And what is scary is his jab is not a regular kind of jab, it's a very powerful jab that is as good as solid hard right or left. You could see every time it hits solidly on point blank it dazes Lemieux badly. Another thing is, when he launches that very powerful accurate jab he seems to be always on the lookout to see if he can follow it up with his real solid punch that could take out his opponent anytime. It's quite deadly when you have to deal with those punishing cannon while always wondering when is he gonna unleash those bombs, you know it's ticking for some time now and it's gonna explode anytime in your face. But guess what, you're wrong, apparently it's not in your face, it's in your liver area. Yes sir! Golovkin has mastered a Julio Cesar Chavez or Micky Ward type of perfect liver shot placement too which that is truly unique in the game today.
I know GGG is almost done in his weight, his only wish is to unify the division then move out, he got every belt that matters now except the last one which is with Cotto. So folks have patience he's almost there. Unify to prove he's the best in that division, there can be only one! Then move on but he needs that one last belt to complete his journey in middleweight. Whether it would end up with cotto still or canelo or someone, none of that matters to him, GGG wants to get that last belt so he can move on.
