Pritchard Colon is entering surgery for a severe Brain bleed. May GOD bless him and his family during this time. PaulMalignaggi @ESPNBoxing— BJ Flores (@bjfloresboxing) October 18, 2015
Not cool, hope he pulls through.
Completely forgot this was on today. Peterson seriously won by robbery?
Was a close fight. I didn't score but it looked like it could have gone either way. Never felt Diaz had a commanding lead but 117-111 for Peterson is ridiculous.
Corrupt judges are sadly a part of boxing but we got Williams and Diaz as plAyers in the game now so yeah thank you PBC.
That's what I call a genuine thanks giver...
(Don't forget to thank for Aaron Martinez also.... and for Andre Berto. I forgot: did you express any thanks for Salka yet?)
this is why our sport will never be mainstream...no sport that has judges will ever be fully accepted
I feel you on that, it is the worst boxing conversation to ever have. Pretty much why I don't score fights anymore, not worth the effort just to get into arguments.
It was a close fight but if I felt Peterson was winning the close rounds, I would have him up a decent amount. Boxing scoring is weird like that it doesn't always reflect if a fight was close or not.
I can feel that fight having a wide range of scores depending on if you like Diaz boxing or Peterson's more consistent hard shots specially to the body.
I completely agree. A fight can be ultra-competitive and have wide scores because it is scored round-by-round.
I thought Peterson won the fight, but if they'd given it to Diaz I wouldn't have thought it a terrible robbery. Close, excellent fight.
even just by eyeball scoring, that wasn't a 117-111 fight

... ask fetta to thank these "corrupt judges"...
... fetta likes to thank.

Thank you PBC!
New players in the game.
Scores were a little wide but I thought Peterson pulled it off but at the same time it was second TV. I was watching baseball
The judges were probably watching on a second screen too.

There were a lot of close rounds in the fight and 116-112 is not a wide score that is winning by 2 rounds.
I didn't score so I can't really say but there could have been a pretty wide range of acceptable score and honestly the hometown dude is going to get the breaks in a fight like that like 80% of the time.
Diaz did well so I can feel people thinking he won but he would have done a much more complete job to feel robbed.
daggum, hey, until the sport is regulated, you know what you have to do in someone else's backyard. Whether we're talking about Judah/Spinks 2 in St Louis, Rios/Alvarado...even on neutral grounds, and you're the "B" side fighter and promoter, and you don't do enough...
the saddest part about that whole thing, i KNOW im not the only one that was kinda expecting a fvcked up score somewhere
My stomach sunk, I had Diaz winning as well but I'm gonna rewatch it.

I expected to give it at 115-113 or 116-112... Peterson was relaxed all the night.
