Herrera schooled danny and got robbed by haymon if were gonna get into all that. He was losing the rounds and got hit with some solid shots . One to two punches doesnt win you the rounds when you dont hurt your man and your getting outboxed for 2 minutes and 38 seconds of each those rounds. Lets not act like haymon doesnt fix fights. That is very clear. You dont wanna give herrera credit fine. But he damn well deserves to be in the argument here and in the onversation of the top 6 fighters at the weight gunning for lineage. Corruption exsists in boxing and herrera has been a big part of that and so has haymon

Harrera was in a damn close fight and he lost, he hasn't done anything of note since. Matts been more active and beaten the better fighters since. You can argue with that if you want but that would be crazy. Also the win over Peterson would have no bearing on 140 seeing as how it was a welterweight fight(or 141 haha). Matts has beaten Provo since, Herrera already did that.

A lot of people think Herrera is the lineal champ at 140... I say Postol, Crawford, Broner (yes Broner) and Herrera needs to box off for the title. For the same reasons why Bradley never got it since he didn't fight Khan.

So you break it down for me. Garcia was"THE MAN" He moved up leaving the spot vacant,now all the top fighters will have to fight it out to determine a new lineage,now the #1 and #2 can fight but honestly in this situation that clears up nothing as no one is clearly the #1 right now

Well this could be set in the next year Top Rank have the WBC , WBA interim , WBO belts so those guys could fight each other for unification IBF got a free agent champion he can fight anybody WBA have a PBC guy so its hard for that guy to get to unifications fights

Pretty sure the universal lineage was established with the Garcia/Matthysse fight Khan/Garcia was for the ring title however Peterson was ranked higher than Garcia at the time. We all know how different the RIng title is to the lineal one Might be worth checking your facts before giving 'lessons' Yup, Garcia vs Lucas established the 140lb lineage. With that said, we are nowhere near establishing another one. There is no clear cut #1 or #2 guy in the division. If u wanna say postol is number 1, sure. But only because who's left the division and not because of his accomplishments. In other words 140lbs is light on resumed fighters right now.

I would personally consider the winner of a Postol -Crawford fight as the best 140 pounder and I would pick Postol to win.
