Most would agree at this point that Algieri would beat Berto handily. This means that Khan's last opponent was of course a superior fighter to Mayweather's last opponent.
The question however remains: Did Khan actually beat a more difficult opponent in Algieri, easier than Mayweather was able to beat the low level Berto?
but did you watch it in slow motion doe?
The commentators sucks. As much as possible I don't want to hear them.
Add the hilarious "Khan Only highlights" in the end of a round. It looks like Khan dominating the fight. Although they add few Algieri Highights there too.
IVlieve adding a slow motion in boxing scoring would give more accurate result in a fight.
I give Chris alot of credit for completely changing his methods & techniques
for Khan. He and his team must of felt thatb they wouldn't equal Khans boxing ability so they decided to be a pressure styled fighter and I thought he looked awkward trying to fight instead of box but he did pretty damn good when yoiu consider the drastic change in methodology.
Berto is far from what he used to be which was a decent fighter who tried to compete in the past. I didn't care for the way Mayweather guided his career the last 8 years but thats his choice. To have Berto as the final opponent is nothing but embarrasing to me, close to gutless! I mention "picking up the pennies" alot when fighters are near the end or far past it when their name still has value. Mayweather vs Berto was ridiculous, Mayweather wanted no part of the young guys on his heels and Khan would have a huge pay day held in England at Wembley Stadium. Would have equalled or beaten him vs Pacman. Obviously he felt he couldn't win that or he would have done the bigger payday. The great champions always fought on opponents turf, they'd come into his area and "own it"! Thats what the ATG's did.
I give credit to Chris, I like a fighter who gives his all. Look at that eye he fought with against lil" Rocky. That was emergency survival and he did it!
Ray
If the judges scored Khan and Algieri a draw i would have no complaints at all.
The score cards were way too wide. I don't mind scoring it for Khan by like a point but that's all.
No, just no but to be fair current Algieri was much better than the current Berto. I scored the fight as draw with my tv in low volume
but did you watch it in slow motion doe?

Why, just why?
How do you measure that? What's the point of this question?:Flush:

I don't agree. Put then in the ring and we will see, styles make fights.
Who beat who? Beat them better, more decisive manner. Manny beat hatton more decisively, but easily lost to Floyd.
Your question remains a hypothetical one. Let's test the hypothesis in the ring.
By direct experiment.
A more important aspect of this argument is that Khan fought the BETTER opponent, who had him beat for height, reach and size. Khan had to fight small and try work his way out of that fight. I actually felt Algieiri won by a point but Khan actually managed to out jab him at times, which is normally the prerequisite of the taller fighter. Khan put in a good performance in a tricky fight.
Mayweather was the one cut and bleeding more at times, it happens in boxing but against a low level Berto..? Sure if it was Algieri in there with Floyd you'd expect some cuts but against a c/d-level fighter like Berto, and to run all night the way Floyd did too..?
Khan actually tried to do some harm to Algieri and damage him while Mayweather was content with running from a c/d-level fighter all night??
Surely Khan's performance trumps Floyd's every time..
Seriously though, I doubt Berto even landed that, his accuracy was horrid.
Agreed
ya khan is actually TBE didnt u hear?
