They both knockout artist and fight the same caliber of opponents .....but wilder get disrespected and GGG prasied ...with wilder actually having thw better win on his resume and actaully fought a champion where GGG hasnt yet
And anotherthing ....why do all his fans want him to fight big names but only when they smaller then GGG...floyed,conelo,and cotto....and come up with 10001 excuse on why he should NOT fight ...his boogieman (ward)
the difference is quite easy top spot.
One guy fights mediocre opposition only when unable to secure a top-level opponent.
The other guy chooses mediocre-poor opposition as his first choice.

GGG will fight anyone in his division, and defend against whomever.
Wilder... he's going to have fought two guys not even ranked in the top 10 heavyweights after beating Stiverne. I won't join the hate train just yet--- lets see if he fights Povetkin first.
1. Canelo is the same weight as GGG/slightly bigger. If GGG drained himself like Canelo does to make 154, that doesn't mean he's a smaller guy than someone at 160. This is why I question so many posters intelligence here.
2. Cotto holds the lineal title in GGG's middleweight division.
3. Floyd, who doesn't want to fight Floyd? Seriously?
It is all about their boxing styles. GGG is a seek and destroy type of fighter, that fans tind to be exciting, while Wilder has a much more boring style.
What everyone else said, plus their personalities.. Wilder comes across as the typical arrogant thug type with a sense of entitlement, GGG is almost the exact opposite.
Golovkin is much more established than Wilder so I don't think it is really comparable. Golovkin is the best 160 pounder around, I don't know too many dudes who really even try to dispute that.
By comparison Wilder has a nice win~. Both guys need to do more because this is boxing and boxing fans are the kings of "what have you done for me lately" but clearly one guy is quite far ahead of the other in the game.
GGG has a sht resume but is still infinitely better than Wilders. GGG is clearly a better fighter also, Golovkin also has a good fight lined up Wilder has a fight lined up against a scrub.
I think Stiverne is a C class fighter so I don't think its better than wins on GGG's resume. GGG needs to step up the class of opposition, Wilders has just been beyond embarrassing.
I didn't know that Wilder had an account on here?
What up Deontay?
Anyone who thinks Wilder is anywhere near the fighter GGG is, knows absolutely NOTHING about boxing. The guy has the worst boxing form that I have seen at championship level. He doesn't hold his hands up, his jab is slap upward and has 1 real fight (and the KO artist couldn't even get the KO).
As soon as he fights Povetkin (who he is ducking) or Wlad, he gets KO'd easy.
Did you watch his last fight? He got hurt by a guy Arreola KO'd in 1 round, it took Deontay a little longer than that though.
Golovkin has fought better competition and it isn't even close. Golovkin's resume looks like a HOFer compared to Wilder. Stiverne is like the only top 20 HW Wilder has fought.
Wilder also doesn't have half his division ducking him like Golovkin does.
So far, Wilder got a better signature win. Stiverne is much better than Murray. I honestly think that the preference of Golovkin over Wilder has a little tone of racism to it.
No he's not. He's got a stoppage loss to a journeyman, struggle vs old Ray Austin, and only decent scalp Arreola who last barely got by a scrub. But hey, youre a trolling kind of alt so have at it

Start with Wilder avoiding his dangerous mandatory Povetkin.
Ward is (maybe lol) fighting tune up #2 on the Cotto Canelo undercard.
Also, Canelo n GGG are the same size on fight night.
You want any more holes shot through your dumb horse sh*t?
Wilder is not more hated, Golovkin is the most hated fighter, on this forum at least.
People just don't care for Wilder because they know he will get exposed rather sooner than later.
They wish they could say the same about Lord Golovkin.
No and it's not even close

Even though GGG's accomplishments as a professional are far from being P4P worthy, he still accomplished much more than Wilder at this point and there's no doubt that GGG is the better fighter of the 2.
GGG is on the right path though but he's being too slow, but if he keeps fighting the same kinda fights like Lemieux he's gonna be a P4P guy in a couple of years.
Wilder's reign as a champ is embarrassing and couldn't / shouldn't be defended.
If you think Wilder and GGG have a similar boxing style then you clearly don't know sh1t. Now GTFO.
No one has ever compare their styles; the observation was simply made that a decorated amateur, who capped his career with winning an Olympic silver medal, has currently been a professional fighter for almost a decade, yet has achieved about the same actual standing as a fighter who has barely had his hands in gloves for a decade (and gets **** for only just getting to the Heavyweight title.
Golovkin is 33 years old and has yet to fight anyone worth anything, and that's the fighter that you'll fall on a sword for? gtfoh
ggg has fought 6 top 10 fighters(7 with lemieux)
wilder has fought 1 top 10 fighter
ggg has tried to fght everyone in his division by making offers to them, becoming mandatory etc...
wilder hasn't tried to fight anyone in his division
how are they similar? just saying things doesn't actually make it true you know.
Wilder actually won fans over after the Stiverne fight but he took a huge step back with these last 2 Fights. Just absolutely terrible choices. Spare me with the "Al Haymon" no these fighters and their managers have a fuking say as far as who they fight next. Nobody allowed LSC to use the Haymon excuse so Wilder shouldn't be allowed to use is as well. Next fight better be Povetkin I don't give a fuk if they lose the bid and he has to travel to Russia. Take on the best and prove yourself and if he starts to beat guys like that consistently he will get his respect! Right now I like a lot of people are not believers right now. He only has that belt because Vitali retired IMO :dunno:
GGG has his critics as well to be fair, people point on his weak resume daily especially on this forum so everybody in boxing have their critics. It is not a fighter in boxing today that is loved by all...NOT ONE! Roman Gonzalez might be the closes to it and that is only because stupid casuals don't watch the smaller guys so us the Hardcore fans can appreciate a guy and not get into silly debates over every little thing about the guy
