This guy has a boxing related video that has been trending facebook. It was about great fighters of the past and how they looked at the later stages of their careers. It then shows a montage of Floyd at 38. He's getting some hate but also a lot of support. His IG is JCEEboxing.
He uploaded a Floyd highlight video and it was one of the better ones I've seen
how can someone so boring be talked about so much
I think his big mouth, his public persona, the way he controlled his career., causes so many to talk about him. He did a great job.
Thank you. I try!
You do better than try, you are off the charts as a pure hater. I criticize all boxers.
Can you criticize the PAC-ster?
Great action fighter, great puncher, amazing speed, and one dimensional.
Couldn't cut off the ring with Floyd.
Reckless, when he thought he had Marquez, and got crushed like an empty San Miguel beer can.
But "dat is boxing!"
You really should watch Floyds fight against Phillip Ndou or Diego Corrales or Gatti. Floyd has had several compelling fights and Ali did have his share of boring fights. Ali's most dramatic fights were the ones were he took an enormous amount of punishment I.E. the Thrilla in Manilla. Yes Ali is more revered because his legacy is tied to things outside of boxing but as a boxer alone I think Floyd hold's up with some of the best fighters from the past days. He is even more technically proficient than Ali was.
Floyd has great boxing skills, great defense & great foot work, but Castillo tapped that axe in their first fight.
This douche bag will be a thing of the past. You cant take away the boredom a fighter gives. Never living up to any of the PPV hypes. One disappointment after another. Controversy endlessly. He should be placed right next to Joe Calzaghe.
Just another undefeated boxer who fought guys out of their prime and cherry picked some and fixed up few bouts as well.
I think the video was well made, but the calzage comment was not far off the mark. But didn't calzage have a higher KO percentage?
.... the hug, the fall, the TUE, the IV and the PEDs

You're clearly an idiot. Ali doesn't fight anymore retard. I'm talking about his overall career. Floyd up until last week still fought, and for the last ten years has been a bore. Do you not see the difference. Lol unbelievably stupid.
You resort to name calling when I just pointed to the stupidity of your statement. I know that must have hurt. Ali in the last few years of his career was nothing impressive either. When people talk about his heyday it was close to ten years before he retired. With the exception of the Foreman and third Frazier fight, people reference his career before his ban from boxing. Try again.
The irony of this statement is hilarious. You point out that I reference fights that happened over ten years ago but in your very next statement you reference fights that happened over 40 years ago :lol1: Floyd critics are so warped lol.

Lol I'm assuming I'm older than you, I've been watching Floyd since the 90's. He's had a few compelling fights when he was younger. You're referencing fights from over ten years ago. Ali is revered, along with those outside issues, because he has "moments" in fights that people will never forget. Knocking out foreman, embarrassing Liston, etc. Floyd had a chance to have a "moment" and he chose, along with manny, to stink the joint out.

Yeah but his fights had drama and Ali would mix it up when he had to. Did you see Floyd's attempt at exchanging against berto? He threw like three punches while retreating. Aside from exceptional footwork I don't think they fight anything remotely similar. Ali is revered because he fought fearlessly, people don't look at Floyd like that, and never will.

You talked about a defensive first, light puncher being considered one of the greatest ever also being unlikely and pointed I out a guy who is considered by many to be the greatest heavyweight ever despite not being a huge puncher.

It's not just about ko's. If you think there's similarities between ali, and Floyd because of their ko ratio, then I don't know what to say.

Ali and Leonard didn't have the greatest K ratios either and they are considered top ten fighters. And both those guys lost to guys they should have been able to beat the first time.

no offence, but you're crazy. A safety first fighter with no wins over a prime great fighter will never be rated that high. Not even in the top ten.

that was a great video i think 20 years from now they'll put Floyd in the top 5 easily his last 3 fights weren't that great but everything else is ATG material
