GGG turned down Ward for the Canelo vs. Cotto winner.
I think that it will be a great fight between those two though. Both come with a wealth of boxing experience at the TOP level as amateurs AND pros. I feel that a 50/50 split between the two is cool, STRICTLY cause Ward hasn't been busy lately. Other than that, Ward deserves the lions share. GGG has a resume' stocked will B and C list fighters.
I do feel that GGG is the best at 160lbs. today though. I'm anxious to see Quillin vs. Jacobs and GGG fight the winner. I think he should handle that work at 160lbs before he moves up for Ward though.
Golovkin weighs the same as Canelo on fight night.
Ward last fought within light heavyweight limits.
It's a way to stall and keep his name to there, he needs to commit to 175.
