What is this man implying here ?? ...
... oh yes and btw, I am still eager to know what happened in those sparring sessions between Klitschko and Joshua...
Joshua is the truth and i believe he could, late next year, challenge Wladimir and might very well beat him.
Wlad has been slowing down he was troubled by mediocre fighters as of late. And Joshua would be one of the only guy, who's actually skilled, with the same dimensions of Wladimir.
I would love to see this fight so that the torch can be passed to the next generation.
Besides Wladimir i don't see anyone in the near future who can beat Joshua. He's already a star in the UK and could very well draw crowds to the US due to his style. Boxing needs a Heavyweight star and Joshua fits the bill.

David Price was hyped the same way at the same point in his career. Both Olympic medal winners, both hammered decent journeymen through 14 fights & Price got derailed by his 15th fight. Although AJ creaming Kingpin was impressive but what happens when AJ faces a top 20 HW? All the same questions I had for Price & Dimitrenko (the 2 most hype up HW who I called to fall flat on their faces)I have for Joshua... I had the same questions about Wilder & he has answered most of them...
Too early to tell yet, he has a lot of potential and is progressing very nicely but he hasn't been fully tested yet, we will see when he starts to face guys that are more capable of catching him, see how he takes a punch, etc.
As of right now he looks like he has a bright future and needs to keep his feet on the ground like he is at the moment, just keep constantly improving... he needs another 18 months at least IMO before he'll start to look ready for a title shot. I honestly hope he can take over as the man in the HW division, whether that's from beating Wlad or him retiring before he gets there, he seems to be good for boxing to me.
lol 14 fights
hasnt even fought a real pro fighter, a fighter who makes his living off of boxing. he fought a bunch of guys who train part time after their day jobs.
hes beat a collection of bin men, forklift operators and cab drivers
I think what Malik is saying is the truth.
He's an American boxer who has no reason to praise a British boxer, but he's saying that Anthony Joshua was very competitive with Klitschko in sparring.
He's finishing his opponents faster than anyone has finished them before. And he's still getting better.
If Barry Hearn said it, it must be correct. They don't call him "Barry the Bible of Boxing" for nothing.
In fact, they don't call him "Barry the Bible of Boxing" at all. They call him Eddie Hearn's dad.
So far he has never fought anybody who boxrec ranks higher than 60th among the world's best heavyweights. Let me see how he does when he fights top 50 or 40 or 30 or 20 or, god forbid, top 10 world rated heavyweights. If he is still knocking them all out in less than 3 rounds then he's got my vote.
Apart from Klitschko, Joshua and their respective teams, I believe Kugan Cassius and a few journalists are the only human beings that must be knowing that...
Maybe Tyson Fury...
Having a friend who knows the whole team of a great football club ( that I won't mention) I know that there are lots of insider stories that the general public doesn't know about... I guess it must be the samed with boxing...
I would have believed you if I hadn't seen that scar on Klitschko's left bicep after he rescheduled his fight with Pulev.
That came from him crashing down on the canvas and falling on his arm.

Well Wladimir pulled out of his scheduled fight shortly afterwards....

Do you think Joshua whooped Wlad in sparring?
I don't know... but I am almost sure of is that those sparring sessions must have been brutal at times...
said this for over a year now, i CANNOT WAIT for parker v joshua.
HOPEFULLY it will be in 1-2 years time and it will be for the undisputed heavyweight champion :boxing:
You're making a valid point.
I dont wanna spread any false rumours but Klitschko praising Joshua THAT much is suspicious to me...

Joshua has looked great so far but that's obviously just him trying to promote his son's number 1 cash cow after Froch retired.
