I just found out that Mayweather is 9-0 against southpaws, but I really wanna know how many southpaws Pacquiao has faced in his career, I don't recall one fight where he fought anoher southpaws.
u leave me no choice but to call u an idiot! read the first goddamn comment again, I said "Southpaws train to fight orthodox fighters just like orthodox fighters train to fight orthodox fighters when they start boxing, how to fight a southpaw is something u learn later cuz the majority of fighters are orthodox" which is EXACTLY what I said in the second comment with a bit of paraphrasing, the second comment was "And yes southpaws train to fight ortgodox fighters when they first start and then learn how to fight other southpaws too"

goddamn!
lmao, that back track is real. Familiarity is something I agreed with 3 pages ago, but I was talking about angles in the first place. Allow me to make this easier on everybody catching feelings...I don't think (know for a fact) a southpaw fighting a southpaw is the same as an orthodox fighter versus a southpaw, but if you wanna disagree, it's all good.
Stop that emo sh1t and stay on topic. Now you wanna change what you said.

We're going to tread this again? I've already said familiarity helps, but familiarity does not equal the same angles as an orthodox vs a southpaw as a southpaw versus a southpaw...how is this so hard to grasp? Stand up with the closest homie next to you and try it.

Ur hatred for Floyd Mayweather has blinded u, I wasn't trying to discredit Manny at all, I was just sharing why the question hit me, but u being oversensitive combined with hatred made u think some type of way. And yes southpaws train to fight ortgodox fighters when they first start and then learn how to fight other southpaws too

You're actually wrong though... southpaw vs southpaw is the same as an orthodox guy getting in with a southpaw. It's something both stances aren't used to in both instances, only in the one instance the southpaw has the edge vs orthodox because they've been fighting them all their lives. Whereas a southpaw would run into another southpaw just as often as a right handed fighter would ... not all that often.

I was questioning my own sanity but Sanchez was orthodox.
You are right, don't know why I thought he was southpaw. I watched the Barrera - Sanchez fight not that long ago I should've remembered!
Oh I don't know maybe because Pacquaio predictably battered the unranked Magarito in a shameless cherrypick for an 8th title?
Pac vs Margarito was a good matchup if you ignore BS title claims.
I wouldnt have any problem with that being PPV if i was a yank. It was pretty entertwinjng too despite the one sidedness
WHY would you want your money back for Pac-Marg?
The rest are obvious.

...well, i tried, but you're just a dummy.

David Diaz, the fight I bought all because of Diaz' physique during the weigh in :lol1:
I don't even know how that was a PPV come to think of it.
Damn, I saw that fight on a stream.
I can't even talk, I purchased fights like Jones-Hopkins 2, Marquez-Diaz II (pretty good undercard sold me iirc), Pac-Mosley and Pac-Marg. I'd like my $220+ dollars back.
Don't act like a clueless twat for the sake of trying to one up me, of course familiarity helps, the post was about angles - applying Floyd statistics to a Manny question in regards to southpaws doesn't make any sense.

Always funny when people try and drop knowledge only to fall flat on their face. The advantage southpaws have over orthodox fighters is familiarity, which they lose when stepping in the ring with other southpaws.

Someone said David Diaz already, Fahsan 3K Battery was a southpaw if I remember correctly although I've only seen him fight Molitor and Pacquiao.
Agapito Sanchez was a southpaw, Rakiatgym (spelling?) was a southpaw and the only reason I know that was because I watched his fight with Valdemir Pereira which was a really good fight a few years ago and they mentioned his fight with Pacquiao in the build up.
I'm sure there are more if you go back to his flyweight days but the only fights I've seen of Manny that far back were his KO defeats and his title win against Sasakul.
I was questioning my own sanity but Sanchez was orthodox.
What exactly are you trying to get at? Manny's not an orthodox fighter, so how does Floyd's stat (random intro for a Manny Pac question btw) against southpaws apply? Perhaps you don't understand how boxing works when you're actually fighting - a southpaw to a southpaw is like an orthodox fighter facing an orthodox fighter, the same angles are there for the lead hand/foot and the back hand/foot. I would imagine it would be easier for Manny....I would imagine and Freddie Roach has said Manny loves sparring southpaws.

Wrong, Southpaws train to fight orthodox fighters JUST LIKE orthodox fighters train to fight orthodox fighters when they start boxing, how to fight a southpaw is something u learn later cuz the majority of fighters are orthodox, so a southpaw would give another southpaw problems cuz they're not used to fighting each others.
