Amir Khan cherry picks his way through the 147 division, got knocked out and lost whenever he stepped up in competition, and then wonders why he can't get the Mayweather fight.
The subsequent choice of Andre Berto kind of renders any Khan criticism irrelevant as far as Mayweather fight is concerned.
If you'd genuinely prefer Berto as an opponent then you're a not a boxing fan because that match-up is worthless.
How the hell was Danny Garcia a step up? That's the silliest thing I've read all day?
.
Just what i was thinking. Khan was expected to beat Garcia and Garcia beating Khan was the making of Garcia. Garcia has gone on to show he wasn't such a bad fighter afterall and the loss for Khan to Garcia doesn't look so bad now.
Video was hilarious, but some of the same posters sh1tting on Khan in this thread can be quoted in other threads saying that Khans resume is one of the best around. Can't take y'all seriously.
Yea that blew my mind, honestly it is sad man
I don't think he made the weight well, he was at the weight too early and it was obvious to me he was overtrained, all the physical signs were there that he badly overtrained. I can think of a few fighters in the past where the weight massively effected there ability to take a punch, Roger Mayweather for one.
If you look at Khan's fight with Barrera for example at 135lbs he gets wobbled a couple of times quite badly, I don't think he overtrained in that fight but he was far too tight at the weight, as soon as he stepped up to 140 his chin was much sturdier. But as he has got bigger and started to fill out he started struggling to make 140 like 135 before. Just for the record I don't think that is why he lost to Garcia.
I think now at 147, he is not struggling at the weight yet but he overtrained big time, didn't look good, punches had no fizz, mouth open halfway through the fight. I think he was lucky to get through that fight, and showed mental toughness, if he had been in with a puncher I think he would have got taken out, I don't think I have ever seen him in worse condition. He needs to learn his own body and know when to push and when to take a rest.
You have to take into consideration that Khan doesn't have a good chin to begin with, so he seems much more sensitive to weight issues, overtraining, etc. We have seen him take good shots off good punchers, I think when he has a good training camp and hasn't overtrained, or taken too much out of his body to make weight, and his legs are strong, his ability to take a punch is good enough to compete with big punchers.
so how does frickin berto deserve it?!?!?! hahahhahahahahaha give me a break.
did we forget that berto got STOPPED like 2 years ago by a slow plodding no defense has multiple losses past prime journeyman KARASS?????????
khan >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> karass >>>>>>>>>>>>>> berto
Floyd wanted to fight Berto, Floyd believed that Berto would bring a good fight, Berto generally brings a good fight, and Berto has looked good in his last two performances since getting his arm put back on (funny how you ignore the actual situation).
Kell Brook and Keith Thurman(if he was ready to make that turnaround) would've been far more deserving fights, but it's not like Berto is a bum who's gonna get blown out in three rounds.
Amir Khan had his many chances to stake his claim; take the summer Wembley fight with Kell Brook and emerge victorious. He didn't do that. going life/death with Julio Diaz and Chris Algieri isn't going to cut it.
Khan has wins over 11 world champions and 4 two-division champions, yet loses every time he steps up ??
One legit loss in almost 8 years.
Meanwhile Floyd is fighting Andre Berto!!
Khan cant get the Floyd fight because he's too fast and not half his size.
This cant be denied any more.
Because of what he did to slick boxers name Peterson and Judah
if Floyd gets no credit for beating zab in 2006.
khan gets no credit for beating zab 5 years later.

You are absolutely right. Khan has done very little and looked weak since he was KOed by Garcia and changed trainers and joined Haymon. He does much bragging but very little fighting, He has only had 5 fights in three years. He talks about how he slaughtered Maidana but that was 5 years ago and irrelevant today plus Maidana damn near knocked him out which he conveniently forgets. He had his hands full with Algieri, a guy Pacquiao beat by 120 to 102. He got knocked down and almost lost to Diaz who Thurman easily took out in three rounds. Yet this guy Khan claims to be the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Talk about overrating yourself.
How the hell was Danny Garcia a step up? That's the silliest thing I've read all day.
Kahn usually does great when he steps up and it's only when he's expected to run through an opponent is when he finds trouble.
The Garcia, Mccloskey, and Disz fights were all suppose to be easy Kahn victories but it's in these fights he struggled the must.

Haha I absolutely love the video, it's a pity you didn't include the Garcia knockdowns as well. I'll post this everytime Khantards make silly comments if you don't mind.
