So Fmr Boxing Champion Holly Holm is getting a shot at Ronda Rousey...

hmmm, Holm is still pretty much green, yet she gets a title shot, seems like we know what Dana White is doing, his Bash Boxing campaign, he is going to show the world Ronda can destroy a world class boxer, but Holm is past her prime, I watched her fights in UFC and she is slower, her fast twitch muscles are no longer the same, she is past her prime and slowing down big time. I am willing to bet Dana White and Rousey will call out Floyd Mayweather and diss boxing saying UFC is superior to boxing, he did that same sh1t with old zombie slurring obese pastprime James toney and put him in with one of the best wrestler grapplers in ufc history Randy Couture. Just because of this I hope UFC goes under, I love watching MMA too, but Dana White has gotten on my last nerve, both sports should and can live together but this dude is trying his hardest to try and use Floyds name and bash boxing at the same time. I hope Holm wins and I like Rousey, but Holm just needs to keep her distance, Ronda is not a wrestler she doesn't have any shoot skill, she mainly bum rushes for a clinch and judo toss she cant shoot low for anything. I still cringe when Rondas Coach Edmund said she can be a boxing world champion even against male boxers in her weight division of 130-135 smh.

What it boils down to is skill. If you're an MMA guy who suddenly decides to try boxing (which would be prevented by the UFC for any under contract UFC fighters so this could only happen with non-UFC fighters) they'll find they simply cannot cut it against guys who have been boxing their whole lives. You have to remember pro boxers have been doing this since they were kids, there are very few exceptions. Same is true for a boxer going to mma (mma guys have been training for years and years) and it's true for just about any other sport as well. You have to have the experience, the years of training in order to compete on a high level. Yep, different sports mechanics. Same reason you rarely see super athletes in the NBA/NFL crossing over to one another even though alot of them grew up playing both sports.

Holm's not green, she's as good as she's going to get. She's been training for mma before she left boxing. The UFC is making this fight now otherwise there's a strong chance Holm would lose to any of the other top women. Holly has great striking skills, but no power. She uses her kicks to set space between her and her opponent. She's f*cked against anyone with good ground game.

Yeah, she is past her prime and been in some brutal beatings. Also she looks like crap in her last few fights in the UFC, its obvious her body is no longer the same, when she first hopped into MMA she was looking decent, but her peak is over and physically she is horrible now, slower, doesn't extend her punches anymore, cant even bust a grape and relies on setting up that big leg kick now. Holm will either get knocked out from ground and pound or submitted once they tie up its a wrap. Meisha Tate was actually winning in the stand up with Ronda and could have won that fight until she stupidly went in for a take down and got submitted, stupid move really but Tate admit she was gassed out and tired when someone gasses they usually tie up. Who gives a Sh*t about Meisha Tate!

Saw her first fight in the UFC, she looked pretty bad, I remember Pennington was actually out striking her. Holm also seemed to have very poor power, which is a little embarrassing considering she has an extensive boxing background.
